Job Purpose:
Supervise and Monitor sales of Transaction Banking \[Bancassurance (Life and Non-Life Insurance), Remittances (Agency Remittances, SWIFT, Demand Draft) and Real Time Gross Settlement, Depository Participant’s and Card Business\] of the bank.
Essential Function:
• Maintain relationship with Insurance companies, Money transfer companies, partner banks, Depository and other stakeholders.
• Track the latest trend in business of Insurance, Remittances, Cards and design/modify the product accordingly, prepare product papers, execute processes to support business growth.
• Identify clients and their Transaction Banking needs by coordinating with sales team at Branches and corporate office.
• Coordinate with Information Technology department for implementation of all retail business in automated environment.
• Coordinate with Corporate Communication Department for marketing and promotion of Transaction Banking business.
• Identify training need (Product, Product USP and Selling Techniques) and provide training to all stakeholder as and when needed.
• Monitor the performance of business and achievement and report to Manager-Transaction Banking and Head-Retail Banking.
• Track updates of current activities, competitor's products, pricing & strategies and provide regular feedback to management.
• Consult with BMs/RMs/customer service department to gain advice regarding the types of Transaction Banking business or services expected to be in demand.
• Liaise with operations team on all aspects of sales support to ensure proper implementation of applicable documentation and necessary paperwork for proper compliance.
• Support, co-ordinate and motivate subordinate for meeting assigned target.

• Bundling of Depository Services with Savings Account Product.
• Bundling of Life Insurance of MetLife with Savings Account Product.
• Execution of Automated Bancassurance Service (Life and Non-Life Insurance) to increase the efficiency and reduced operational hassles.
• Planning and Execution of Automated Cash Management Service.
• Business planning and execution of Online Receivable Management.
• Business planning and execution of Merchant Payment modules.
Job Purpose:
Explore various surround systems to enhance the system capabilities, information security and proper documentation with respect to IT infrastructure of the Bank
Essential Function:
• Identifying, developing, implementing and maintaining processes to reduce information and information technology (IT) risks Prepare and administer internal policies and procedures relating to departmental program activities; preparation of IT related project proposals.
• Participating in vendor meetings and resolving issues for the smooth operation of current as well as future project.
• Recommend on procurement of IT Hardware, Software and other system related projects.
• MIS and Document Management along with assurance of information security.
• Preparing guideline and manuals with respect to usability and security of IT systems.
Achievements at IT Department
• Drafting of IT-Policy 2069, Information Security Policy 2069 and eBanking Policy 2069 of the Bank.
• Successfully conducted bidding for IT Audit and Offsite-Data Center of the Bank.
• Prepared 2 years plan for NIC ASIA Bank in line with the IT Guideline prescribed by NRB.

• Implementation of VOIP throughout the bank (all branches and corporate office) for internal communication (voice-fax).
