Job Responsibilities:
• Perform Routine, Corrective & Predictive Maintenance of Process Analyzers and Sampling system.
• Executing file works and maintains records on daily basis.
• Safe handling of chemicals and gas cylinders.
• Notification monitoring, updating work orders, and closing out in the SAP system.
• Conduct Material Resource Planning for analyzer spares and consumable requirements with Warehouse & Procurement teams.
• Conduct overhauling and troubleshooting various issues on Rosemount Gas Chromatography 700 XA, which includes Columns, Restrictors, analytical valves service/replacement, FID & TCD Detectors & Electronics replacement.
• Prepare MOC and implementing procedures for analyzer replacement and quality enhancement.
• Carry out new analyzer installations, commissioning, and startups.
• Preparing Root cause analysis report for equipment breakdown, conduct investigation, troubleshoot the cause, provide, and implement recommendations to avoid recurrence.
• Identifying obsolete and/or non-operational analyzers and recommending the business & process appropriate solution.
• Associate with Production & Reliability teams for the analyzer upgrade with new technologies.
• Performing Technical Evaluations of Spares & process Analyzer buyout quotations.
• Align with Equipment OEM for evaluation & correction of vendor document package and giving approval for manufacturing clearance.
• Attending FAT & SAT with Analyzer OEM for new Analyzer projects.
• Maintaining safe and clean working environment by complying with Safety, Health, Environment and Quality procedures.
Accomplishments:
• Initiated and accomplished project execution for Rosemount Gas Chromatography analyzers.
• Model : GC 700 XA for Carbon Monoxide (CO) in quality measurement of final product.
• Model : GC 700 XA for Sulphur trace analysis in Desulphurization process.
• Model : GC 370 XA for C6+ Natural gas analysis.
• Execution and Installation of Free Chlorine analyzer in the Cooling Tower Dosing system.
• OEM : Prominent, Model : CL2 Controller (DACB) with Chlorine-bromine sensor CBR 1
• Execution and Installation of trace Oxygen Analyzer in High pressure Nitrogen.
• OEM : Advanced Micro Instruments, Model : 2001 RS
• Execution and Installation of Specific & Direct Conductivity analyzer in Boiler feed water.
• OEM : Rosemount, Model 1056 Dual channel transmitter with sensor model 400
Job Responsibilities:
➢ Adhering to Health & Safety Environment as well as organization’s procedures
➢ Delivering technical expertise and oversight for site online process analyzers
➢ Developing, analyzing & approving for new analyzer installations
➢ Performing troubleshooting of analyzer issues and implementing improvements to optimize analyzer run time & reliability.
➢ Enhancing plant & and profitability by identifying various areas of analyzers, providing assistance for commissioning and establishing new analyzers Contributing to capital project planning, design and implementation, Spearheading long term analyzer improvement initiatives.
➢ Identifying obsolete and/or antiquated analyzers and recommending business & process appropriate solutions
➢ Formulating & implementing site procedures, standards, and specifications
➢ Heading lead incident investigations to identify & eliminate root cause of incidents by conducting RCA, complete & close findings.
➢ Attending Risk assessment program which related with S-STEP, SIPCHEM safety transmission excellence program.
➢ Contributing as a key member on projects with major & minor Analyzer components & resource
➢ Leading development & execution operations of the analyzer long range plan; delivering insights for Analyzer PM program.
➢ Defining analyzer calibration standard composition
➢ Describing unit outage analyzer job scopes by coordinating with Turnaround Team
➢ Analyzing analyzer criticality to define spare part requirements.
➢ Fulfilling requirements of Operations by conducting meetings with them
➢ Formulating Drawings, Termination schedules, instrument loop diagram (ILD), Datasheets & so on as per modifications executed on site; performing loop checks of every process instrument; taking callouts 24/7
➢ Using SAP System for planning and scheduling jobs & order spares.

• Observing and maintaining the basic plant safety regulations and using personal protective equipment
• Understanding project requirements and completing all duties assigned by the Supervisor.
• Shadowing senior staff members, asking questions, and assisting wherever possible.
• Ensured maintenance of plant Instruments, calibration procedures, daily monitoring check List and calibration report
• Understood about maintaining the basic plant safety and using personal protective equipment.
• Attended trainings on Basic Fire Fighting, Safety Orientation, Emergency Response, Emergency Evacuation Plan, Emergency Alarm System, Working at Height, and Confined Space Entry
• Minimized downtime through troubleshooting breakdown maintenance of plant Instruments.
• Evaluated requirement of spares & indent material and liaised with Material Dept. for on-time procurement of technically approved indented material.
