• Shuaibah Expansion Project (Reverse Osmosis Technology - 150, 000 m3/d)

Accomplishments:
• Ensured constant availability of the plant availability including Budget & Contractual figures and made continuous improvements to minimize operation & maintenance cost.
• Contributed to performing NDC test for the last six years and effectively.
• Maintaining compliance with IMS & ISO requirements, additionally recorded success in complying with environmental obligations & no significant damage.
• Registered stellar success in plant performance which was taken as a case study with IDA congress 2018
• Ensured optimal talent development and Saudization rate at its highest to 70 % in 2018 and also improved work place for operation department.
• Contributed for the attainment of Net profit within the plant budget.
• Enabled to produce 10 % higher than plant capacity as per SWCC demand on high/peak seasons.

Key Result Areas:
• Operating and monitoring Shuaibah RO plant (IWEP), ensuring plant is operated within defined parameters to maximize the availability for the water production.
• Developing achievable KPI’s for the department and further assigned KPI’s for each employee with pre-established targets and road map to achieve these targets.
• Establishing the overall success criteria for the plant, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters; maintaining comprehensive reporting systems and updated information to ascertain accomplishment of operation within specified quality and performance criteria.
• Deploying safe working practices, identifying and mitigating associated risks and monitoring effluent emissions bellow regulatory and permit requirements in addition to maintaining procedural compliance within the requirements of quality certificates.
• Maintaining strict adherence to plant operating budget.
• Reviewing firefighting system on daily/weekly basis.
• Providing suitable working condition to enable employees deliver their peak performances.
• Efficiently handling emergency situation like plant force outages and system abnormality in quickest possible time in addition to ascertaining the plant is working at full capacity with planned shut down and starting of the plant within established norms.
• Providing day-to-day leadership and working with assigned staff to ensure the proper, safe and efficient operation of plant.

Project to Credit:
• Desalination Plant (Reverse Osmosis Technology)

Accomplishments:
• Commanded operation & maintenance of Desalination plant and established the operation philosophy of Desalination plant & power plant including startup & shutdown RO SKIDS.
• Established the new design proposal for new RO plant expansion to augment the delivery of the existing system and address the perennial water shortages
• Developed and deployed detailed processes for new RO train including scope of work, project schedule and a definite project time frame).
• Maintain the plant production & quality within the agreed parameters & specifications with the client and delivered higher efficiency, easier operation, better effluent water quality, and lower waste production.

Desalination Operations Operator:
• Provided inputs in selection of the most appropriate desalination process and maintained RO data, while simultaneously providing monthly production report, shutdown report and weekly maintenance/ profile conductivity reports.
• Responds to alarms by taking appropriate corrective actions and executed plant shut-down and start-up procedures as well as recorded parameters of RO plant inside control room to ensure accurate data logs to ensure flawless RO plant operations.
• Assured that the plant meets its generating requirements to provide quality of water for 24 hours, while operating in a safe and efficient manner
• Maintained readings, records and reports. Identified abnormal readings and reported to senior managers. Additionally, trained team of operation and maintenance personnel.
• Systematized maintenance function by assigning work, and leading teams in carrying out their tasks including cleaning procedures membranes depending of type fouling; scheduled preventive & corrective maintenance of R.O plant equipment’s to maximizes functional availability of equipment
• Played a vital role in troubleshooting RO operational issues including high conductivity of permeate flow, high vibration or temperature pump & motor, turbo charger failure, full maintenance pumps & control panel’s trip.
• Assisted in design, installation, testing, startup commissioning for water treatment plant such as R.O systems and contributed to minimization of power consumption in turn substantial reduction in cost production.
• Provided advocacy to water/water treatment companies including DOW, NWC, Metito, AES, Alkawther & Schneider electric.
• Involved in procuring plant supplies/ spare parts/consumables and replacement equipment in an efficient manner by identifying needs in advance, managing suppliers and working within established guidelines.
• Optimized the operation of maintenance department to obtain high Quality, Cost, Yield and Productivity on an ongoing basis.
