Lead full life cycle of a large design and build master plan healthcare project, overseeing both the design and construction of its buildings, infrastructure and landscape environment. Delivered the project across the full life cycle, taking a project from concept design, through detailed design, construction, commissioning to project completion.

Ministries Complex is one of the largest governmental settings in Kuwait consisting of 19 building blocks of six floors each over a foot print of 90, 000 square meters. • Established a reputation of delivering a high profile project by playing a key role for two years of aggressive team leading of the Technical Office department for Redevelopment of Ministry of Finance project in Kuwait City.
• Turned a failed and delayed project into a success story to be completed in two years’ time.
• Overtook the project and created a technical teams department to complete work on site within the two year limited time period.
• Provided technical leadership/guidance in issue resolution meetings (to facilitate resolution of issues with the Discipline Lead, Lead Review Engineers, and Construction sub-contractor.
• Collaborated with the client and consultant to refine all the coordination issues related to architectural, structural, and MEP that were not properly thought over during design development stage by the project designer.
• Identified and resolved all pending site issues speeding up the construction activity in full sway. Furthermore identified and resolved issues and problems of the project in advance to ensure that the work on site is not delayed.
• Provided regular/timely feedback to Discipline Leads and Consulting Reviewers. Established and managed project workloads, deadlines and staff to maintain profitability for both client and the construction company.
• Managed teams of architects, engineers, document controllers, site supervision staff to ensure construction of the project in accordance with the approved design and local and international standards and regulations

♦ As lead partner of Jeelani Associates achievements involved in working on projects in
Kuwait, Munich United States and India. In India highest achievement involved in
serving as advisor to the Chief Minister of the Government of Kashmir contribution for
all public works constructions. Project work completed under Jeelani Assoictes
includes residential buildings in Munich Germany and Kuwait, Agility Headquarters in
Kuwait, Construction documentation (shop drawings) for construction for MESCO
project for KOC sub contracted with First Kuwaiti company, subcontracting Villa for
Sheikh Ali Al Sabah subcontracted with Sadeer Construction Company. Additionally
works included numerous villas, shops, restaurants and office spaces.

Played a key role in the construction of Oreedoo Headquarters in Kuwait City as main lead on site. Involved in managing the on-site issues related to construction particularly focused on interior design and architecture; Involved in client, consultant and contractor relation including organizing and conducting meetings to resolve issues, explain drawings and ensuring that the project meets all required timelines. Provided solutions to architectural and interior design issues in coordination with MEP, Structural design, Civil works and high and low voltage drawings, reviewed shop drawings and building materials in compliance with project specifications, Bill Of Quantities and other relevant documents. Oversee activities of staff engaged in review of design and construction documentation and specifications. Participated in the following projects:
 Oreedoo Headquarter Towers ( 23 story high-rise building) in Kuwait City
 Design and construction of headquarter building of Schlumburdger Oil Company in Ahmadi Kuwait
 Social Security Building in Kuwait.

. Achievements included spearheading design team, client
collaboration for design, collaborating with the design partners in United States and

Canada. Resolved design issues and detailing issues and refined the design in
coordination with the clients and staff, found solutions for various stages of design
development including developing conceptual design, producing architectural and
construction documentation, incorporating codes and regulations to the architectural

Played a key role in the development of City of Redmond (suburban city of Seattle); best known as the home of Microsoft for which Redmond has become a metonym. Microsoft headquarters located in Redmond Washington currently employ 40, 000 employees. 8 years long association with City of Redmond involved development of wide range of projects including commercial, industrial, recreational, civil infrastructure and residential projects to support 40, 000 Microsoft employees and residents of Redmond

Achievements included involvement in various stages of design development including developing conceptual design, producing architectural and construction documentation, incorporating codes and regulations to the architectural drawings, site visits, and meeting with contractors, clients and regulators. Participated in following projects.

Worked on commercial and residential projects, including new
retail and office buildings and remodeling/renovation of new and existing houses and
luxury condominiums focusing on architectural design development. Performed
architectural development and project management roles; collaborated with clients to
refine architectural design for remodeling projects, selected building materials and
colors, prepared architectural documents, researched and selected building materials
and colors for exterior facades, handled code application and permit processing and
submittal. Participated in following projects.
 Detailing and space planning of 10, 000 square feet office building in Downtown
Auburn.
 Designing 4000 square feet of space for commercial space in Auburn Washington.
 Designing and detailing of 6000 square feet of dental office building and related
parking.
 Designing, detailing and project management of various residential houses.

Participated in following projects.
 Achievements involved production of schematic design development, presentation
drawings for architecture for Interior Design projects. Involvement in complete
research of building materials and internal coordination included in preparing the
design and construction documentation.
 Designing and detailing of numerous buildings such as office buildings, residential
houses and landscape projects under the supervision of the lead architect.

 Restoration of 150-year old Golf Club building. The project received an award.
