Adapted to the new Workplace and independently worked as a Full time Aluminium and Glazing Estimator and executed all kinds of works related to Estimation Department.
To estimate Stick & Unitized Curtain wall system, Doors & Windows, Skylights, Louvers, Railings, Partitions, Shower Cabins, Automatic Doors, Spider Systems, Patch Fittings, Steel Structures, and Aluminium Cladding etc., using customized Excel Sheet.
Regularly monitoring the current material and manpower rates and pricing the projects accordingly.
Consulting with Technical Departments for Design to be used in pricing of heavy and complicated structures and conducting site visits if required.
Prepare the final costing and send it to the management for approval.
Finalize the Cost and prepare the BOQ with Covering Letter for Submission.
Ensure timely completion of estimates & submissions. And providing required Documents and Product Samples to Client/Consultants for Approvals.
Making Weekly Job Status Report and sending it to the Management for Review.
Prepare Cost forecasting for ongoing projects to determine required expenditures at the various payment stages of a project and attend specified meetings.
Having adequate knowledge of Aluminium Profile Systems used in the market such as Gulf Extrusions, Aluk, Technal, Alumil & other Bespoke Systems etc.
is a Specialized Aluminium Façade Contractor. The prime business &
specialty of the company is the designing, engineering, manufacturing & installation
of all types Architectural façade systems.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Scrutinize the Scope of work of various project and factors influencing the cost
of proposals using the bid documents.
* Preparing detail takeoff using the blueprint drawings, specifications & various
reports.
* Sending enquires to suppliers for special items and soliciting the prices from
them. And comparing the prices from various suppliers and negotiating.
* Seeking for RFI (i.e. Requesting for Information) from Client/Contractor for
the missing files or missing information.
* Consulting the Structural team for structural requirement before pricing for the
project.
* Estimating the detail costing for the concern project with the use adequate
resources and bid documents under the guidance of Chief Estimator/Manager.
* Preparing the Bill of Quantity & finalizing the costing of the project.
* Finally preparing the Tender documents for the Commercial & Technical
submission to the Client/Contractor before the required date and time.
* Processing the breakdown and quotation for the variation works and other extra
works.
* Also engaging in the preparation of monthly interim Payment certification of the
ongoing projects.
* Timely reporting and assisting the Senior Manager and carrying out the works
related to estimating or tendering as required by the organization.
