Offshore Activity Planner – Operations at INPEX

Ichthys LNG Project - Located 220 km offshore Western Australia in the Browse Basin, Ichthys represents the largest discovery of hydrocarbon liquids in Australia in 50 years. The FPSO Ichthys Venturer is one of the largest and most advanced facilities of its kind in the world.

• Utilising Japanese guiding principles & business models, supported the creation of Ichthys operations within Australia, the first time inpex had taken on the role of project operator, on one of the largest hydrocarbon liquid discoveries in Australia to date.
• Provided technical support in deploying industry best practices related to planning, operation and maintenance in the development of several business processes, based on the values, Safety, Integrity, Diversity, Ingenuity and Collaboration.
• Develop operations schedules, liaise with counterparts in onshore, shutdown and campaign maintenance groups ensuring transparent communications, availability of resources and maintenance for optimum plant uptime.
• Serve as subject matter expert for planning, coach offshore staff, supervise business processes from work order generation through to technical closure and assure highest standard in SAP PM data quality.
• Support facility management of all activities including provision of SAP data analysis and reporting.
• Member of the facility emergency incident command support team in multiple roles as required - communications and logistics officer, scribe/log keeper, FFLB coxswain, fire team member and helideck assistant.
