• Authored the Compendium of Digital Agriculture Technologies and Their Challenges with
Examples from the Arab Region. The compendium includes chapters about the (Internet of Things (IoT), Data technologies, Distributed ledger technologies, unmanned aerial vehicles, robotics, and mobile applications.
• Developed five e-courses about the book chapters. Each course contains multimedia elements to enhance learning and is equipped with multiple quizzes and exams.

• Performed extensive research on the climate change efect on agricultural development, including the rate of change in the reference evapotranspiration, growing-degree days, and heat units, in addition to the basic climatic parameters.
• Led 3 research projects that included field works and soil-water-plant modeling. The projects included master students, faculty, and other researchers.
• Introduced and applied some new technologies in subsurface drip irrigation that led to about 60% water savings.

• Supervised and developed a VB.net application for Open-field Vegetables in Saudi Arabia.
• Developed a model to compute the best planting day of the year depending on climatic data and the cumulative thermal units.
• Developed a model to perform irrigation scheduling based on water requirements and soil moisture.

• Conducted climatic data analysis from raw unclean data to gain insights that help in soil erosion control.
• Conducted field experiments on subsurface drip irrigation in sand dunes.
• Applied some water barricading methods to avoid deep percolation in sand dunes.
• Improved soil moisture and reduced water wastage by up to 40%.
