Chief Technical Engineering Department Officer
Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
1- Set standards for project management capabilities, including certifications and qualifications for Project Managers,
success measurement criteria, methodologies and tools to be used.
2-Interface with executives to define project priorities implementations opportunities and challenges, and keep team up-to-
date with project risks/opportunities and furnishing board with regular progress reports.
3- Create a ‘Centre of Excellence’ to nature project management practitioners and share knowledge of industry best
practices.
4-Interface with internal teams, stakeholders, venders and partners in the execution of projects.

1- Speaker and representative of the project in relation with clients, consultants and related contractors/vendors.
2- Applying key principles, to maintain high standards of effectiveness and ethics.
3- Defining roles, to clarify team structure and decision-making.
4- Carrying out phases, to manage a project start to finish.
5- Setting up control processes, to keep a project on track and adapt to new knowledge and changing conditions.
6- Setting up administrative processes, to help conduct effective internal meetings and develop high-quality project
documents and technical deliverables.
7- Defining and executing strategies to drive operational excellence.
8- Communicating directly with all personnel resources in all related departments to articulate the corporate mission,
vision, objectives and KPIs.
9- Delivering guidance and support for PMO Team to successfully complete multiple projects and programs running
simultaneously.
10- Contributing to corporate decision making with recommendations to resolve business planning issues.
11- Attending strategic meetings with partner organizations to negotiate and secure major agreements and approvals for
projects.
12- Driving continuous improvement initiatives across all processes and procedures.
13- Controlling budgets, schedules and project deliverables to consistently meet deadlines and implement strategies
effectively.
14- Monitoring performance across each department sing a set of KPIs and achievable targets, with ongoing motivation of
staff to achieve common goals.
15- Convening regularly with other leaders to set clear business-critical priorities and collaboratively focus on the
enterprise mission.
16- Leading on compliance for quality management, legal obligations and general code of ethics in line with internal
organization needs
17- Identifying cross-functional issues and executing action plans to mitigate risks affecting the business and provide
reports to the CEO.

Overseeing all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
▪ Selecting tools, materials and equipment and track inventory.
▪ Meeting contractual conditions of performance.
▪ Reviewing the work progress on daily basis.
▪ Preparing internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
▪ Planning ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
▪ Negotiating terms and agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licences.
▪ Managing the project in its entirely right from inspection to competition inclusive of bid.
▪ Administering site inspections to ensure proper work quality is adhered to enabling smooth work flow.
▪ Assessing the monthly progress against the approved construction schedule, thereby altering the project
progresses as necessary.
