● Implement PMO standard HSSE processes and procedures.
● Enforce the implementation of the PMO safety procedures.
● Maintain the entity safety register, derived from all projects.
● Manage the safety aspect of the entity dashboard.
● Assess respected staff and assign appropriate roles and responsibilities.
● Develop an on-going department staff assessment process and implement
extensive on-the-job working program.
● Oversee engineer, contractors safety procedures and implementation,
report safety, security and environmental infractions and provide
information for safety KPI.
Provide guidelines for housekeeping and improper materials numerous hazards such as: Slip & trip hazards - Chemical exposure - Contact with sharp objects - Fire & Explosion hazards - Overloading of storage.
Ø Conduct and coordinate safety inspections in all construction sites.
Ø Lead the investigation of accidents and injuries.
Ø Maintain and update Material Safety Data Sheets and train employees in their use.
Ø Coordinate injury reports, return-to-work plans, and risk management programs.
Ø Communicate with physicians, employees.
Ø Checks on the use of all types of personal protective equipment, evaluates their
effectiveness and suggests improvement where needed.
Ø Prepares and distributes safety committee minutes, various accident/injury analysis
reports and summaries.
Ø Develop Safety Officers, and Safety Assistants through coaching, feedback, and
continued training activities to assist them in developing skills necessary to execute
their health & safety responsibilities.
Ø Monitor and ensure all HSE progress on site running in well condition.
Ø Instruct safety engineer to implement for developing of safety throughout the entire
site.
Ø Conduct safety meeting with main and subcontractors at site.
•Monitor the concrete Quality assurance and safety implementation activities on project site.
•Oversee the pouring process.
•Maintain compliance of all on-site concrete tests and pouring with American concrete Institution (ACI) standards.
•Monitor the concrete curing and repair and ensure that they are completed as the specifications and scheduled timing.
•Monitor the implementation of the contractor's health and safety plan on the construction site.
•Examine specimens and analyze test results for the identification of any deviation from expected results.
•Report any contractor non-compliance activities and suggest the recommendations.
