My responsibilities as Civil Work Inspector include:
Responsible for daily activities related to QA/QC civil Piling and structural works viz. excavation, backfilling, compaction, concreting, fabrication, Concrete protection, Water proofing and construction of foundation, well pad location construction etc.
Monitoring and inspecting of all the civil works. Execution of construction activities as specified, co-ordination of inspection and testing activities on the site.
Implementation and construction of Electrical Sub-station, Low Density Polyethylene Plant LDPE3 and underground sewer/drainages.
Inspection and checking for concrete Slump test, earth works, finishing works of buildings and asphalt works.
Check the works in their area of responsibility for compliance with the specifications.
Respond to request for inspection / approval in a timely manner.
Ensure there are no ambiguity in the agreed standards to be achieved, i.e. workmanship, benchmarks, material samples etc.
Regular reporting of progress and performance to QA/QC Manager and others as instructed.
Provide an inspection service to ensure that workmanship and materials are as specified by the Client.
Resolve quality issues in a pragmatic manner at the earliest opportunity, to the maximum benefit of the business.
Witness testing of concrete cubes/materials with test laboratory
Witness Cross-Hole sonic Logging of Drilled Shafts and Low Strain Integrity Testing of Piles.
Ensures that all test results are verified to meet contract requirements
Monitor’s material storage area and takes necessary measures to prevent damage
Reports non-conforming activities, propose rectification strategy and follow-up on remedial works
My responsibilities as Civil Work Inspector in AMC include:
Preparing of quotations of material from market like windows doors wooden work iron work steel work sanitary work and finishing work
Preparing MB for instalment payment to all sub-contractors and material suppliers
Preparation of ITP & formats as per project specifications & standards.
Material Management Quality Assurance and Quality Control, Contracts Documentation,
Contract Billing and Quantity Surveying
Inspection of all construction activities at site like Foundations, Elevated Structures, Manholes,
RC Pits, Equipment Foundations, Grouting, Drains, Ditches, Earth Work like Excavation & Backfilling,
Concrete work for roof and flooring etc.
Steel work for roofing and plaster work of houses
With survey Estimation of building Quantities’.
Analysis of non-schedule items of works.
Preparation of ITP & formats as per project specifications & standards.
Material Management Quality Assurance and Quality Control, Contracts Documentation,
Contract Billing and Quantity Surveying
Inspection of all construction activities at site like Foundations, Elevated Structures, Manholes,
