Scope of Captive Power Plant at Nishat Chunian 49KM Multan road Lahore includes maintenance of two 110 Ton Coal Fired CFB Boilers (100bar, 535°C) along with its auxiliaries, Siemens SST-400 Steam Turbine along with its auxiliaries, Induced Draft Cooling Towers, Air Compressors, Water Treatment Plant, Pumping station, Fire Fighting system, Coal conveying System, Ash and Slag system. Responsibilities:

• Manage maintenance programs activities (either preventive or predictive) & find applicable solutions to minimize the worst actors and to ensure high equipment/plant availability through their efficient and safe operation with 100 % backup.
• Co-ordination with plant professionals, different vendors and companies to streamline the plant operations and to resolve any maintenance/repair issue or equipment failure in optimum way to reduce the Plant downtime.
• Evaluating critical spare parts and fixing optimum, maximum and reorder level of spares and general consumables.
• Team Management
• Trouble shooting, Faults Diagnosis
• Vibration Analysis, Dynamic Balancing, Alignment
• Condition Monitoring, Reliability Engineering
• RCFA
• Rotary Equipment Installation/Commissioning/ Trail Runs.

• Preparation and Implementation of PM, PdM, Condition Monitoring Plan for all Plant Machinery.
• Staff on job training
• Conducting technical evaluation of bids for the procurement of equipment, spares, and services
• Manage to Prepare Technical Reports after maintenance activity and Maintain proper history record of equipment as per Quality Procedure Document.
• Assists to comply maintenance related activities in accordance with HSE Policy
• Assist to Implement and aware OHSAS 18001/2007 procedures in the department
• Assist in development, planning & management of Quality systems ISO 14001/9001 in the department.

commissioning of 35 Ton Coal Fired CFB Boiler along with its auxiliaries, Steam Turbine along with its auxiliaries, Cooling Tower, Air Compressors, Water Chemical Treatment plant, Pumping station, Fire Fighting system, Coal conveying System, Ash and Slag system. Responsibilities:
• Preparation of Mechanical schedules for construction, commissioning and testing of all systems
• Preparation of Mechanical contracts for installation of equipment.
• Monitoring of contractors work progress and prepare daily progress report
• Manage and coordinate all contractors in various areas of responsibilities to confirm successful completion
• Coordinate with other disciplines like Civil and Electrical regarding work scheduling and site related issues
• Manage weekly progress review meetings with contractors for better monitoring and execution of contractors work
• Inspection of contractors work in conformity with drawings and standards to ensure correctness, accuracy and precision in work executed by contractors.
• Preparation of Project Status Report for Management
• Revise work plans to meet changing, circumstances, needs and requirements.

Mechanical construction works of Power generation plant based on Coal in ICI Soda Ash Plant Khewra.

Site Manager (Senior Project Engineer) (Coal Fired Boilers Fabrication and Erection
Project)
Scope of 2 CFB Coal Fired Boilers of Power Plant Project at ICI Soda Ash Khewra includes Erection of Coal Fired Boilers, Water Walls, Super-heaters, Economizers, Steam Drum, Air Pre-heaters, ID/FD fans, Ducting, Bag Filters, Associated Equipment and Structure including Radiography, hydro-testing, Refractory and commissioning.

• Manage all appointed subcontractors for the various areas of responsibility to ensure project targets are met.
• Execute and revise work plans to meet changing, circumstances, needs and requirements.
• Coordinate site activities and various work execution phases to ensure compliance with all SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality) requirements.
• Evaluate construction methods and determine cost-effectiveness of achieving such plans.
• Manage day-to-day client interaction to coordinate site activities and interfaces between all stakeholders (client and other contractors).
• Ensure and approve effective application of construction methodologies and enforce project and site standards.
• Direct and manage in-house Supervisors and Subcontractor Site Management.
• Manage contractors to resolve matters such as work procedures, defect rectification and construction problems.
• Coordinate work sequences accordingly to set milestones dates to ensure completion according to the schedule
• Supervise all Boiler installation activities and lead NDT for all weld joints.

· Executing and monitoring of Maintenance of Rotary Equipment in view of OEM recommendations and condition monitoring, ensuring high equipment/plant availability through their efficient and safe operation.

· Preparation of detail Technical Specifications/Schedule of Requirement in light of prevailing international standards (ASME, API, ASTM) and complete technical evaluation for Major Plant Equipment and To provide assistance to Engineering Services in construction and commissioning phase of new equipment.

· Conducting technical evaluation of bids for the procurement of equipment, spares, and services

· Preparation of Technical Reports after maintenance activity and Maintain proper history record of equipment as per Quality Procedure Document.

· Coordinate with Vendor Service Man (VSM) during installation of New Rotary Equipment and their performance guarantee test.

· Supervise the commissioning & start up of new rotary equipment and Create job plans for newly installed equipment.

· Training in Oracle supply chain module.
· Working on ERP Inventory module.
· Issuance of RFQ against purchase requisitions.
· Preparation of comparative statements for management approvals.
· Creation of purchase requisitions and issuance of Purchase orders in ERP.

· Items indexing as per SOP and creation of new codes in ERP for purchase requisitions.
