· To workout the performed quantities with proper coordination of site engineers.
· To workout the earned value based on performed quantity and budgeted rate.
· To allocate the actual cost as per the performed activities/quantities.
· To prepare the accrual/deferral of subcontract/material as per the installed quantities and current rate.
· To prepare the quarterly forecast for the project by getting remaining scope of works with coordination of construction management team.
· To present the monthly cost report for the management.
· To prepare the cost variance explanation on monthly basis and also inform to the management for any contingencies in the cost.
· To coordinate with the store, timekeeper, and construction team for the proper allocation of the cost codes.
· To quantify the Risk and opportunity with the coordination of the site management due to change in the methodology, design- drawing and application of the value engineering.
· To prepare and analyze the labor & plant productivities involved in various activities and compare with global productivity.
· To prepare and analyze the schedule performance and cost performance index curve with earned value, planed value, and actual cost.
· Obtain and verify installed quantities by physical on-site measurements or surveys.
· Quantity take-offs from drawings to accomplish the reporting of field quantities in accordance with construction planning.
· Prepare and maintain the established project quantity management program on site and prepares appropriate reports.
· Establish and maintain quantity files on each activity of work performed on the project.
· Attend and contribute information during team meetings with regards to current or outstanding issues.
· Preparing quantity comparisons for Progress and Performance Reports.
· Contributing baseline quantity updates including verification of estimate maturity.
· Contributing the evaluation of allowances and contingency levels where appropriate.
· Participate in the reconciliation of installed quantities.
· Contribute to keep project within sanctioned Scope of Work, budget and schedule.
· Monitor and control progress measurement of contractors on site.
· Support the project team in reviewing and costing project changes or variations.
To take off the quantities from the drawing and prepare the BOQ based on various international method of measurement such as POMI, SMM7, IS-1200 for pre tendering and post rendering works of various national and international clients.
