The scope of work and achievement are indicated below which the same Leading Logistics team including but not limited to service crew, field transport, procurement, running projects around Qatar, Ras Laffan with Qatar Gas.
Selected Achievements:
• Leading the Logistics & Transportation team with the responsibility of managing projects in Qatar, through placing standard Logistics Management & Renting, on repair jobs & preventive maintenance in line with directing the mobilization of company fleet, adhering to "Profit Center Approach".
• Managing, supervising and evaluating fleet Renting procedures of all projects.
• Assuring proper implementation of all Company procedures within the equipment department.
• Creating awareness about the needs of the PM presence in projects depending on the conditions of each project.
• Monitoring the operation of all Company's equipment and miscellaneous service equipment through various control measures and ensuring optimum operational status and deployment.
• Scrutinizing Project Contract and Plant List and deciding for the necessary logistics for transferring plant to specific project sites.
• Developing "Annual Work Plan" with daily, monthly, quarterly schedules for all phases of company Logistics activities, and schedule delivery activities complying with customer operational requirements, in parallel with assigning team duties, responsibilities.
• Overseeing that all equipment are maintained, repaired and installed to production status and that all safety procedures are followed properly.
• Assessing all repairs thoroughly so that all replacement parts as well as any necessary spares or parts kept in inventory are ordered in a timely manner.
• Maintaining a flexible maintenance management system in coordination with IT facilities.
• Assisting procurement function in accordance with equipment's specifications, purchase requests, and evaluating technical proposals from suppliers.
• Implementing training programs for all personnel working in the department.
• Conducting "Budgeting Analysis" and "Financial Management" of the department.
• Managed delivery operation of Smeet Ready mix consisting of 4 sites with 8 batching plants including logistic planning, route planning, and resource planning to deliver concrete as per plan.
• Accurately estimated Logistics and stockyard estimations BOQ for the tendering.
• Hold accountable for assets planning including preventive maintenance to ensure assets perform effectively during the life cycle.
• Handled the production, projects, and logistics equipment including Transit Mixer™, Mobile Cranes, Forklifts, Shovels, Bobcats, telehandlers, Overhead cranes, terrain cranes, trailers and trucks, Pickups and Buses.
• Work closely with the maintenance department to ensure the health of the equipment and annual maintenance of the equipment i.e., registration and calibration of the equipment.
• Develop logistics planning of the site to ensure the workforce (manpower transportation management), heavy equipment, and materials can move around efficiently and safely.
• Prepare overall forecast of the equipment and maintain strategic relations with suppliers to rent equipment & vehicles to meet projects deadlines.
• Develop department structure and policies to ensure the streamline of the processes and systems.
Highlights:
• Successfully delivered 120K+ concrete monthly from 4 batching plants (Sites).
• Managed 20+Concrete Pumps & 150 mixers and 180+ construction equipment & vehicles including Mobile Cranes, Overhead Cranes, Trucks, and buses, etc. to ensure smooth delivery of concrete to the sites.
• Managed over 300+ employees including heavy drivers, light drivers, Logistics Forman, Operators (Crane, forklift, bobcat, telehandler, etc., ) logistics supervisors, logistic clerks, office boy, etc.
