Inspection and Repair of Furnace, Cyclone Separator, Heat Recovery Assembly, Electrostatic Precipitator, And Circulating Water System for abnormalities and defects
Repair boiler tube leaks.
Boiler Tube Failure Analysis.
Conduct Non-Destructive test such as Dye-Penetrant Test, Visual Inspection, and Thickness Gauge.
Inspection and repair of Stationary Equipments like, High Pressure Heaters, Low Pressure Heaters, Condenser, De-aerator and Valves (pneumatic, hydraulic, motorized and manual)
Inspection/ Repair of Rotating Equipments like Fans, Pumps, Blowers, Turbine-Generator Set.
Overhaul and Alignment of driven and driver equipments such as Compressor, Fans and Pumps.
Vibration analysis of rotating equipment
Valve overhaul. (all kind of valve e.g. ball valve, butterfly valve, globe valve, non-return valve, etc.)
Inspect and repair of Boiler Refractory and Insulations.
Provide Manpower and Tools for shutdown activities.
Provide Preventive Maintenance Plan
Provide Lubrication Plan for Rotating Equipments.
Modify equipments/ system for improvements.
Preparation of student for Licensure Exam.
Teach a course load appropriate to their field of discipline.
Demonstrate a thorough and accurate knowledge of their field or discipline.
Display an ability to interpret and evaluate the theories of their field or discipline
Evaluate student performance fairly and consistently and return student work promptly to promote maximum learning.
Piping Engineer
Responsible for undertaking, piping, and painting design reviews in accordance with appropriate technical standards and specifications associated with the services provided by the Engineering Contractor.
Responsible in Design and Modifications of Preliminary drawings.
Stimulates challenges and supports the Engineering Contractor to strive for easy/simple solutions and to avoid unnecessary changes. Takes part in the Constructability reviews.
Follows the piping, painting and insulation quantities and checks these in the estimate.
Follows the development of the execution schedule ensuring both the timings and sequencing are correct.
Prepare final design (layout, assembly, construction drawings, ...) and other specifications
Prepare and participate in design review and other meetings, as necessary.
Have a full knowledge of the Engineering Contractors scope as per the Contract
Have a full understanding of the Engineering Contractors Schedule and the activities and deliverables for the discipline and be a driver to ensure the latter are achieved in a timely manner
Prior to commencing work, agree with the Project Manager the proposed budget, for his department, for the work to be undertaken
Ensure that all tasks assigned by the Project Manager are completed on time and within budget
Assistant Welding Inspector
Inspects and tests welded joints of work in progress and of completed units for visible defects, correct dimensions, joint strength, bead formation, weld penetration, and conformance with layout, blueprint, and work order specifications, applying knowledge of welding principles and metallurgical properties.
Verifies alignment and dimensions of product and setup of machines and fixtures used for work in progress.
Observes techniques and performance of welders in shop or at construction site.
Follow Welding Procedure Specification.
Records inspection data.
Schedule and Supervise repair and maintenance jobs needed by process equipment and facilities in the areas including Process Area, Power Plant, Waste Water Treatment Plant and Reverse Osmosis Plant.
Research, design, evaluate, install, operate, and maintain mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles
Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and to make recommendations to maintenance crew.
Recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions
Estimate costs and submit bids for engineering, construction, or extraction projects, and prepare contract documents
Conduct daily audit and inspection of process equipments and facilities to determine and review if needed repair and the nature of equipment failure/breakdown to prevent recurrence.
Smooth and efficient delivery of quality steam, power and air.
Operating supplies and spare parts replacement are within the approved operating budget.
No trace ability of Power Plant equipment breakdown that contributes to operations downtime due to spare parts and operating supplies unavailability.
Boiler water quality is maintained at acceptable range.
Timely completion of repair of power plant, WWTP equipment, and Production Area equipment.
Timely submission of operating reports and operating budget and other tasks.
Housekeeping and sanitation are maintained to prevent Product from contamination.
Ensure that the quality of water supply is within the standards.
Maintain a systematic filing of all records and documents under area of assignment and ensures that all confidential information are only disclosed and made accessible to authorized persons with prior clearance from immediate superior.
Responsible in preparing and conducting tests of every equipment in a two units 750 MW Coal-Fired Thermal Power Plant including Root Cause Analysis, Periodic Machinery Monitoring of equipments like Main Steam Turbine, Condenser, Boiler, Mill- Pulverizer, Fans, Pumps, Blowers, Compressors and Pressure Vessels, Troubleshooting Maintenance, Vibration Monitoring of equipments like Steam Turbine, Motor, Pumps, Fans, Compressors etc, ( using Bently Nevada - Portable Snapshot and System 1), Oil Monitoring (particle count), Boiler Combustion Tuning (including primary airflow calibration, coal fineness, dirty air test, clean air test, and classifier vane adjustment), Heat-Rate Test, and other parameters that affect the efficiency of the plant. Coordinate with Planning Section for equipment defects. And recommend process change to Operations and schedule and scope of repair to Maintenance.
