a. I was part of a team that worked on an Undergraduate Research Experience Program (UREP) project awarded by the Qatar National Research fund (QNRF).

b. The project was titled Adaptive Ontology-based Context Management in Mobile Tourist Applications.

c. In this project we worked on creating an android app that uses current user location and speed to provide the user, tourist in our case, a recommendation on destination of his/her interest before reaching them. Besides using location and user speed, our approach was aware of network speed as an important factor that affected response time, and consequently impacted calculation of predicted user location.

d. Our final paper was accepted and published by the International Conference on ICT Convergence (ICTC13).
