OPERATIONS;
PURPOSE - To ensure smooth cargo operations and performing all logistical tasks, ensure flawless movements of shipments from Dubai to Iraq. To perform tasks related to ERP systems, Mirsal II and Calogi. Ensure maintenance of all the necessary documents.

• Job creation on the ERP system;- To provide booking details of the cargo to the customer.

• Update shipment / cargo status on ERP and execute Airway Bills (AWBs) both on ERP and CALOGI.

• Request Ad Hoc rates on CALOGI from other airlines.

• Pass Export, Temporary-Export and Re-Export declarations on MIRSAL II.

• To supervise activities with the freight forwarders in order to collect and dispatch materials in an orderly manner.

• To update the latest shipment status to the customer from point to point.

• Negotiate rates for air freight with other carriers.

• Accurate costing of all export jobs inclusive profit margin.

• Ensuring clearance and delivery of all shipments by co-ordinating with the clearance department.

• Control flight capacity, ensuring maximum optimisation of the space allocated.

• Ensure release of the flight booking list, i.e., The Load Plan to DNATA within the agreed deadlines.

• Plan and prioritise shipments effectively considering nature of goods, global key accounts, and higher yields.

• Prepare trucking load plan based on the RFS schedule and availability of trans-shipments.

• Route planning for RFS trucking to SHJ Airport and other deliveries.

• Effective co-ordination with DNATA for build-up releases, cargo transfers (ITT) and cargo tracing.

• Ensure FIFO (first in first out) is followed and bin accuracy is maintained in the warehouse.

• Bar codes placed systematically on all cargo before stacking it.

• Maintain the petty cash account, record all transactions and ensure charges are collected on the basis of a Pro Forma Invoice.

• All reports to be maintained and submitted on time.
