Responsibilities as BU Financial Controller:
Business support, working closely with BU leadership.
Business controlling, cost controlling, internal controls, ensuring no revenue leakage.
Management of P&L in terms of Actual results forecast and Budget.
Management reporting to India and Global leadership and conduct leadership financial review meetings
WIP, AR & Cash management
Project Pricing supports
Support to BU HR, operations
Financial book closure, Audit, MIS, statutory compliance
Coordination with Tax, legal, India MIS, other BUs.
Responsibilities as Functional Head, ESS:
ESS (Enterprise support system) is an organization started in 2013 that manages the processes and systems supporting BU finance controllers and business. It’s a shared service within finance that creates value. It covers the business involving more than 25000 offshore resources.
Implementation of ESS within finance and the change management
ESS PC deals with project controlling functions and actual closing and reporting of nearly 20 BU P&Ls in CG India.
Inter-company agreements & Audits relating to BUs and projects in India
Managing the Team’s transition to new organization.
Managing escalations
Ensuring that Road map is strictly adhered to
Systemization, standardization and mutualization of activities under ESS PC.
Key member of ESS senior leadership deciding the road map of change management.

Division financials, Business Support, Costing, Budgeting, MIS, Credit controlling, statutory compliances and audit support.
Lead role the SAP implementation for the division

Responsibilities:
In Audits: Leading & managing the audits and other assignments which include scheduling various assignments, allocating audit personnel, preparation & consolidation of audit reports, presentation and discussion of the audit reports, conducting meetings with clients etc.
Other area of responsibilities: Taxation works which include hearing before ITO, preparation of MOA/AOA, works relating to ROC including company formation, assignments relating to reconciliation, preparation of project reports for bank finance, preparation of budgets, designing of internal control systems, designing of accounting systems, Finalization of financial statements which include preparation of Trial Balance, Profit and Loss A/c & Balance Sheet, related annexure and notes on accounts.
This is post graduation in Commerce which was considered as equivalent to MBA in the university at that period.
