 Preparing the material request according to the requirement of project.

I am working as a Sr. Material Controller; I handle Mechanical, Structural, Electrical & Instrumentation material supply from client.

Responsibilities:
Material Resource Planning & Controller, Overall Pre-order and Post-order Management to satisfy planned priorities for fabrication and construction of Equipment material.
Involved in all areas of material control for Mechanical, structure, piping, Electrical and Instrumentation,
Random inspection of materials received for quality assurance Goods received

I am working with Fives Solios in Maaden Aluminum Smelter Project in Saudi. I handle three types of project material Green Anode Project, Liquid Pitch Terminal, Bath Treatment Plant.
Mechanical materials
Ball Mill, Apron Conveyor, Bucket Elevators, Belt Conveyor, Bag Filter, Silos, Vibrating Feeder, Jaw Crusher, Screw Conveyor.

Piping Materials
Chute Piping, Duct Piping, Gi Piping, Piping Material like fittings and pipes, (CS/LTCS/ALLOY/SS).
Electricals/Instrumentations Materials
Various types of Cable, Ladders, Cable Trays Bends, Clamp, Brackets, Angle Fittings, Lights, Junction Boxes, Safety Switch, TT, FT, PT & different types of panels, Manometer, Thermometer, Level detection, Level transmitter.
Structural Materials
Column, Beam, Angle, Chek’d plate, Grating, Steps, Shims, Handrails, Ladders, Mesh Panel, Bolt nut & other structural materials.

Responsible for requesting piping bulk materials for Fabrication and Erection from bills of material using work plan and Manual request for Equipment and tagged items.
Responsible for all piping materials receiving and inspection with QC department.
Receiving Materials shall includes, scrutiny of certification, Material Certificates, Marking and color coding, Dimensional and quality checks.
Update project material requirements according to modifications of isometric drawings.
Supervises contractor activity such as organized and managed storage facilities at the work site to receive, store, segregate all materials for works.
Implement the proper location key and precise item key of materials.
Random inspection of materials received for quality assurance.

Supervises contractor activity such as organized and managed storage facilities at the work site to receive, store, segregate all materials for works. Implement the proper location key and precise item key of materials. Random inspection of materials received for quality assurance. Run reports to verify inventory accuracy, limit over issues to Subcontractor, Recover over issues due to drawing revision, Through knowledge of material control systems, computerized and manual experienced in receipt, inspection, material identification storage, preservation and finally the issue of material

Provide efficient support to the warehouse management and procurement activities required of the project offices according to the established policies and material procedures, Material Handled Carbon
Steel, Stainless Steel, Nickel Alloy, Alloy Steel (Piping), Electrical, Instrumentation, Equipment & Structural Materials. ISO procedure follow-up in warehouse & materials issuing coordination with site engineer.

Materials undertake initial inspection of consignment prior to offloading including checking for any visible damage to packing, counting of packages for receipt. Check for alum/vacuum pack materials & ensures that

The carriers delivery note shall be remarked unexamined dated & signed, checking of markings & color coding. Maintaining a system of tracking assets/Inventory and updating as appropriate.

Checking heat/cast number against material test certification and international project standard checking of dimensions for all counted & stacked materials, store materials in appropriate location, complete receiving

Checklist entering quantity received with their storage location. Check for over, shortage & damaged delivery (OS&D).

In correct/incomplete certification In the event of damage being detected, take photograph (prior to offloading / where possible) & copies of which shall be appended to discrepancy report. Careful check on the condition
of the packing or containers of such items in order to identify & report any possible damage at the time of receiving check ensures that the MCC (Materials Classification Code) is strictly followed.

Responsible for overall local purchases of the company and operate ERP System, all the materials loading, unloading, Checking, receipt, issue, generating day to day reports, stacking accounting preservation reconciliation maintain whole office documents, Plan and provide logistical support to all sectors in the implementation of programs activities and transportation and stores management.
