Advice project representatives on legal standards and other statutory requirements. Provides technical support to the Project Management on any safety related subjects. Leading safety audits on regulatory/standards compliance. Preparation of HSE reports relevant to the project and submitting to Client/Consultant & SRA. Investigation of on all near miss, incidents & accidents and preparing reports finding root cause and recommend solutions. Assist management in implementing statutory regulations for maintaining highest degree of HSE standards. Schedule targets to achieve HSE objectives and monitor Key Performance Indicators. Conducting regular in-house training & awareness programs for employees. Conducting HSE committee meetings with project team. Inspect and report unsafe conditions/acts to the concerned for rectification and mitigation. Conducting periodical mock drills to train the workers in emergency evacuation procedure. Conducting regular EHS Awareness Programme, Campaigns & Motivational Programs. Conducting internal audits to ensure adherence of Organization standards and ISO/OHSAS.

Supports the Vice President in strategy planning & executions, Defining industry specific Organizations roles and responsibilities for safety aspects & core value. Review and updating Company’s emergency procedure as and when required. Advising senior management & personnel on statutory regulations. Monitoring effective implementation of HSE management systems in the projects & factories. Ensuring implementation of HSE Plan, Policies, objectives & Client HSE requirements. Ensure statutory compliance with regard to Occupational Health, Safety and Environment. Provide support to Project & Factory teams in all aspects of safety, occupational health, safety and environmental matters. Preparation of HSE weekly & Monthly reports and submit to client/consultant. Assist management in implementing statutory regulations for maintaining highest degree of HSE standards. Conduct of EHS Awareness programme and workshops at regular intervals. Conduct training for newly joining personnel on safety measures to be adhered to. Regularly briefing all employees regarding compliance of safety rules & norms and initiating necessary actions in case of noncompliance. Protection and ensuring sensitive areas of factories from all possible risk and hazards through regular inspections and messages.

Implementation & Monitoring of company HSE management system on site (HSE Policies, Plans & Procedures). Fulfilling the Client & Consultant’s HSE requirements. Supporting the project team to identify the hazards & risks at workplace and also for corrective/preventive actions. Ensure Plant, rigging slinging and lifting gears, cranes inspections and convey safe mechanical or technical procedure. Assisting the line staff with the production of Risk Assessments. Development of site HSE process audits and formal site inspection schedules. Reporting HSE Performance to the HSE Manager. Maintaining HSE documentation to satisfy Internal and external auditors. Incident investigation & reporting. Communication / Consultation with the line and safety staff. Ensuring that Environment aspects are considered during planning and execution of work. Prepare Schedule and monitor Emergency response, conducting Emergency Evacuation drill. Maintaining accurate and organized records of all safety related equipment certification and ensure that items are inspected, tested and certification is maintained current. Preparing HSE daily, weekly and monthly reports. Conducting safety induction training for new employees. Monitor and report on the health, safety and environmental aspects of the project. Conducting internal trainings for all workers and maintain the records. Conducting monthly safety meetings with concerned engineers and foremen.

Planning and conducting health & safety and induction training to all new employees. Carrying out site safety inspections and advising the execution team for necessary actions. Incident/Near miss investigation and advising necessary steps to prevent the re-occurrence. Attending Safety meetings, Safety inspections with sub-contractors. Organizing in-house refreshment safety training to employees (Staff & Workers). Advising regarding high risk permits to work/construction/demolition/excavation/confined spaces etc. Monitoring the high risk (Heavy lifting/confined space etc.) activities. Monitor and control implementation of all procedures related to the maintenance and effectiveness of safety, lifesaving and emergency equipment and inspection of work activities and equipment to ensure the safety in operation and work procedures are maintained. Participation in HAZID inspections recommending the preventive measures and ensuring the implementation was done. Implementation of safety promotion schemes and campaigns. Maintaining the emergency awareness among the workforce and staff.
