• Responsible for reviewing site plans, working drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for
land development, showing ground contours, vegetation, locations of structure, and such facilities
as roads, walks, parking areas, fences, walls, and utilities, coordinating arrangement of existing
and proposed land features and structure. Inspect construction work in progress to ensure
compliance with landscape specifications, to approve quality of materials and work, and to advise
client and construction personnel on landscape features.
• Analyse the natural elements of the site, such as the climate, soil, slope of the land, drainage, and vegetation
• Prepare preliminary design after studying and analysing the site
• Prepare and present detailed plans and working drawings, including details and specifications for the project
• Take into account any local regulations, such as those protecting wetlands or historic resources
• Review the approved plans, working drawings and all existing and proposed features
• Review in detail the methods of construction and the list of necessary materials
• During the design and planning stage, visit and analyse the site to verify that the design can be incorporated into the landscape

• Working on the development of Lusail City, a brand new project to create a unique, state of the art city prominent in both the region and worldwide and ready to fulfil host duties during the 2022 FIFA World Cup
• Providing key assistance to and deputising for the Resident Engineer in administering the operational functions of the project’s day-to-day activities
• Working strictly in line with the contract documents and specifications, overseeing contractors works to ensure required construction, operation and maintenance is achieved
• Reviewing contractors’ submissions, shop drawings, methods statements, material submittals as well as supervising site inspection staff and surveyors, reviewing their daily reports
• Monitoring and overseeing the quality of materials and workmanship employed within the project, highlighting any areas of concern and escalating to relevant personnel
