Responsible for Overall Maintenance activities including Spare Parts Planning, Budgeting, Maintaining computerized record (BAAN) of Breakdown & Preventive Maintenance of the machines, Equipments & Services in the plant which comprise of Hydraulic & Power Presses up-to 400 Ton capacity with C.N.C., Vacuum Pumps, Gas Charging m/c, P. U. Foaming m/c, Fin Press, Tube Expander, Tube Bender, Electrical Power Substation, Fire fighting equipments (viz.: Smoke Detector, Beam Detector & Fire Extinguishers), Paint Shop equipments with powder coating technology system, Resistance Welding m/cs, Air Compressors, Forklifts, Hoists, Conveyors. Also monitoring the Project activities. Reporting to G.M. - Manufacturing. Subordinate staff includes team of engineers & skilled technicians.

Overall in charge of maintenance of complete plant & services with manufacturing facilities including Foundry Shop with Induction Furnace, Sand Mixing Plant, Moulding m/c, Overhead Crane, Cupola Furnace, Steel Fabrication Shop with Arc Welding m/cs, MIG Welding m/cs, Overhead Cranes, Press Brake m/c, Shearing m/c, Roller Bending m/c and Machine Shop having various General Purpose m/cs & range of m/cs for Engine Reconditioning, Range of Automobile vehicles including light & heavy commercial vehicles, passenger cars & Mobile Crane of ISUZU, TOYOTA, GROOVE make, Air Compressor and D.G. Set. Reporting to General Manager with subordinate team of Supervisors, skilled fitters, auto mechanics & electricians.

Foaming m/c, Power Presses, Paint Shop equipments with powder coating technology system, Resistance Welding m/cs, Air Compressors, Hot Water Generator, Window A.C., Package A.C. units and Pneumatic tools. Spare Parts planning, procurement & storing including in house development of costly imported spares with the help of turning & milling m/cs. I was actively involved in achievement of ISO 9001 certificate for the industry.

Area of responsibility covered Breakdown & Preventive maintenance of nearly 200 machine tools of Indian & international manufacturer which comprised of G.P.M.s, S.P.M.s, Machining Centers having C.N.C., Gear Cutting m/cs, Air Compressor of capacity up to 1000 cfm., Forklifts, Cranes, Hoists, D.G. sets, Heat Treatment Furnaces & Pneumatic hand tools. Operation & maintenance of Effluent Treatment Plant was also under my area of responsibility. Spare Parts Planning, Procurement & Storing of spares, which included development of vendors & in-house development of imported spares. I was independently responsible for maintaining ‘Tools & Consumable stores’.
