My primary function is to strategize, design, integrate, implement and run core systems including JD Edwards ERP, which includes Financials, Sales, Distribution, Manufacturing, and Project Based Tracking. Reference to this, following tasks and functions are accomplished. Developed Information Systems Road Map. Developed and implemented IT Policies and Procedures e.g. IT security management, configuration management, change management, development management, implementation policies and methodologies etc; Interviewed, selected and hired internal resources for the Project. Managed and maintained project life cycle from Initiation till closure along with complete documentation e.g. charter, scope, issue/risk registers, change requests, work plan, status reports etc.
• Implementation and Enhancement of JD Edwards Distribution Module for Ahmed Khalil Al Baker Trdg. And group of companies, across different Branch Plants and Locations.
• Implementing Payroll Module of JD Edwards 3 companies. A complete and detailed project management plan and schedule was created and put forward with sign off from the Functional Users. The system was implemented .The project entailed creation of setup, testing in PY and re-creation in PD and Data Entry and Go-Live, user training, and customized reporting and Support thereafter.
• Creation of completely custom made Project Regulatory Activities, for tracking activities dealing with the government
• Implementation of Oracle Application Server for development of Oracle forms and report for
integration with JD Edwards’s system.
• Liaise with Project Managers and other members of the development regarding implementation of specifications and requirements
• Responsible to design, analyze and execute technical projects, work with Systime, Project Management teams, and business users in different divisions and companies to define business requirements.
• Responsible to work with functional analyst to develop and modify reports in variety Oracle JD Edwards modules using RDA, FDA, UTB and Debugger;
• Identify gaps between business requirements and the delivered vendor Application. Propose solutions and approach to closing gaps via process re-design or system functionality
• Develop detailed business process design, incorporating best practices
• Ensure project integration by communicating finding and activities to CIO and with other teams
• Identify problems and/or potential issues and formulate systemic solutions of propose business process alternatives to meet business requirements
• Implementation of MIS (Management Information Systems) for Facilitating quicker decision making for the Management by implementing Graphical Reporting, based on the overall schema of JD Edwards.
I have all round IT experience in multiple projects and have excelled in the same, in a combination of different languages and technologies. namely ASP.Net, C#, Web Services, VB, Java, Oracle PL/SQL, Forms, Reports 6i, Discoverer, Linux and windows OS
72%, in overall semester, also 92% and 91% for two projects respectively in java and c++ highest in the class . Also 1st Place winner for Best project State competition for all NIIT's all over Tamil Nadu, for java project.
