• Handling translation projects from A to Z
• Perform TEP task for well-known clients, such as SAP, Apple, Samsung, SuccessFactor, and Blackboard Learn
• Exploring new environments such as MacOS operating system; Xtrans translation tool for Mac; and Translation workspace
• Working on subtitling projects for great clients such as Deluxe

• Participate in and drive all project decisions related to translation quality
• Assure the quality of deliverables
• Think both strategically and tactically in order to influence the linguistic direction of projects
• To coach and mentor internal/external resources
• Manage terminology that is related to a specific project or a client, and this includes a) extraction, b) finalization, c) confirmation by a client, and d) populate them to applicable stakeholders

• Translate and self-revise texts covering a broad range of subjects, ensuring that translations are equivalent in meaning and style to the original texts
• Research points of terminology, language, and subject matter and assist in the development of the central terminology database and reference archive
• Provide training and guidance to translators as necessary and deputize for the Team Leader when required

• Reading through original material and rewriting it in the target language, ensuring that the meaning of the source text is retained
• Using Translation Memory software, such as Wordfast, memoQ, SDL Trados, and Transit NXT, to ensure consistency of translation within documents and help efficiency
• Using specialist dictionaries, thesauruses, and reference books to find the closest equivalents for terminology and words used
• Providing clients with a grammatically correct, well-expressed final version of the translated text, usually as a word-processed document

• Responsibility for conducting interpretation (oral);
• Preparing translations (written) between English and Arabic; and
• Assisting in teaching English for individuals assigned by authorities.
