I. Estimation and quantity surveying
Tendering Part:
Performing the detail studies on project documents such as project technical
specifications, quality compliance standards, IFT drawings, resource
database prior to working on the project estimation
Understand the company previous project databases if any and use them as
a reference such as a standard estimation templates, basic rate analysis,
procurement data base for various resources such as material, plant &
equipment,
Performing the quantity surveying as per the standard method of
measurement to maintain the precise level of accuracy
Develop the master abstract quantities for various activities and document
the assumptions and procedures while calculating the quantities as a base
for future comparisons and references
Performing the rate analysis by using various estimation techniques for
activities or deliverables and integrate them in to work package to final
project budget
Explain the final estimation and get a formal approval and feedback from
the high level management prior to the bidding process
Identify the variations of the project once the approved IFC released then
revise estimate and highlight the variations to the higher management to
process variation orders
Productivity and consumption Part:
Periodically evaluate the actual consumption from the execution and
compare against the budgeted estimation to avoid the excess consumption
of various resources
Release the provision for various process such as work order request,
purchase order request, labor payment request which initiated from the
execution team and issue them after verifying against the approved cost
estimates
Following AJM Online System (Site affection plan, building permit,
demarcation, leveling, Site structural audit and completion certificate) etc.
Billing Part:
Preparation Contractor Monthly Interim Payment Application with Work
done Breakdown for consultant approval
Liaise with Sub Contractors, suppliers, Engineers
Review and Evaluation of Subcontractors invoice, and certify the Payment
Certificate
Responsible for controlling all QA/QC activities on assigned projects. Raising NCR’s to solve problems. Review the previous NCR’s until to solve the issue.
Collecting inspection request form from the concern department through mail and distribute to corresponding quality controller.
Preparing daily and weekly QA/QC reports, statistics, and quality relevant presentation at site.
Review of work procedure, work processes and its materials technical specifications as per the consultant requirements.
Coordinate with MT lab for the testing of materials as per project requirements.
Participating MOM with the client’s representative and to solve the QA/QC related issues.
To preparing and follow up the snags report during hand over of the project.
Innovating new check list form to prevent the poor quality of work and materials.
Coordinate with consultant and client on quality matters.
Detailed studies on various site execution documents such IFC drawings for various activities in the project and understand the overall project quality requirements in finishing standards and specifications prior to start of the any execution activities in the site
Initiate the RFI ( request for information ) through the document controller if any clarification required on the execution documents and get the assistance from the consultants
Maintain accuracy of the performing activities by accurate setting out works by implementing the proper standard marking equipment’s or other conventional marking methods
Cross verifying the levels and supporting procedures of various form work such as Modular slab and columns, wall form work for Core Walls like Lift shafts, Stair shafts, Retaining wall, Elevated/Underground liquid retaining structures and STP Structures etc.
Determine the provision of reinforcement requirements and implement them as per the structural requirements
Communicate with the MEP engineer and implement the MEP works along with the civil works to avoid the deviations in the project progress
Perform the quality audit at required intervals and maintain the quality requirements as per the project quality plan and eliminate the chances of non-conformance works
Obtain the formal approval from the quality control engineer or consultant and document the quality check lists for using as a supporting document in the future
Lead and control the execution team to follow the organization safety standards and perform the works with in the controlled environments and increase the productivity to achieve the targets within the schedule
Proactively check the project procurement requirements and coordinate with procurement engineer in line with the project progress
