Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Tanmiyat Global Group
  • United Arab Emirates - Dubai
  • March 2018 to December 2019

Tanmiyat Global is a five (5) Billion Dirhams real estate development company that was established in the United Arab Emirates managing the development in a number of elite projects in Dubai (business bay, DIFC and Living Legends). It includes a number of companies in the real estate development, sales and brokerage and facility management and services.

In the capacity of a full time CEO, I managed the turnaround and restructuring of a group of companies in the real estate development sector in Dubai. The group was struggling due to bad market conditions, long term management challenges and financial difficulties. Serious delay in projects handover and funding are few obstacles among many.
The mixed use developments included two commercial towers, twelve residential towers, five hundred villas, golf course, international school, a mall, a hotel, a nursery, retail areas and boulevard, major infrastructure in terms of power, roads, facilities and sewer treatment.

I took over the role of the CEO in addition to a turn around and re-structuring lead. It included:
• Internal business re-structuring track of the company and projects from a business modeling and structure
• Legal and consolidation track
• Financial track
• Operations and management track

Over the course of the year, we managed to achieve:
• Significant progress of construction and handover
• Product development and re-structuring in addition to sales increase
• Professional and solid internal structure in terms of organizations, processes, data room, documentation, financial and systems
• Legal resolution of a significant number of cases
• Debt re-structuring, funding and structured financing for the projects
• Management and board of directors reporting systems and dashboards

• We are currently building businesses around the region in hundreds of millions of dollars helping our clients achieve their investment objectives on mega scale
• We have significant footprint in real estate development, healthcare, economic development and education
• I was the lead of the development and deal making team of an economic city in Northern region of Saudi Arabia. The project value was 12 Billion USD and will generate 30, 000 new jobs

My responsibility was to build all project teams, manage their work, manage different consulting teams, re-structure financial debts with banks in addition to daily CEO and BOD duties.
