Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage the store's financial performance and maximize profitability
• Manage Safety and Security within the store
• Develop strategic and operational plans for the store/team, managing implementation and measuring results
• Team member development and team building - providing employees with coaching, feedback and development opportunities, involving develop training plans and regular job performance reviews

Ensure proper maintenance of all equipment is being carried out by use of IRR (inspect, report, repair)
• Ensure all operations are completed to company standards, with regards to all food products, food preparation and handling.
• Audit the store weekly - using forms supplied
• Should any part of the store fail in its weekly audit ensure measures/action plan is put in place to rectify.
• Ensure the store is in full Subway compliance and in line with the local Health & Safety regulations
• Check all daily cleaning has been done to a high standard.
• Post and maintain daily and weekly cleaning assignments
• Attend monthly and weekly manager meetings
• Hold regular staff meetings with your team to communicate any key information
• Create a fun, happy environment within the store.

Assistant Store Manager - January 2013 up to April 2013

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Represent the company in a professional manner at all times. Maintain and enhance the company's image when interacting with guests, associates and vendors.
• Must not have restricted availability; willing to work nights, weekends, holidays and at neighboring locations.
• Helps out on coverage for store shifts in case of emergency or call-outs.
• Observe all personnel at the beginning and throughout their shift for compliance with appearance and uniform policies, customer service expectations, quality control and company standards.
• Reports to the store manager and/or area manager regularly on staff performance.
• Coordinates and supervises staff so that the standards of customer service, cleanliness, food preparation, food safety and operational standards are maintained as outlined in the operations manual.

• Demonstrate a complete understand of menu items and explains it to guests accurately.
• Checks products in sandwich unit area and restocks items to ensure a sufficient supply throughout the shift.
• Greets and prepares orders using the point of sale system.
• Understands and adhere to proper food handling, safety and sanitization standards.
