Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage the store's financial performance and maximize profitability
• Manage Safety and Security within the store
• Develop strategic and operational plans for the store/team, managing implementation and measuring results
• Team member development and team building - providing employees with coaching, feedback and development opportunities, involving develop training plans and regular job performance reviews

• Maintain adequate stock levels to ensure over & under ordering is not taking place
• Complete new employee paperwork accurately and in a timely fashion
• Maintain staff training records and update them as and when required
• Ensure staff appearance and uniform standards are in line with company standards at all times
• Ensure the store is open at all times according to the hours of operation for the store.
• Uphold the highest levels of cleanliness in line with Subway and company standards
Ensure proper maintenance of all equipment is being carried out by use of IRR (inspect, report, repair)
• Ensure all operations are completed to company standards, with regards to all food products, food preparation and handling.
• Audit the store weekly - using forms supplied
• Should any part of the store fail in its weekly audit ensure measures/action plan is put in place to rectify.
• Ensure the store is in full Subway compliance and in line with the local Health & Safety regulations
• Check all daily cleaning has been done to a high standard.
• Post and maintain daily and weekly cleaning assignments
• Attend monthly and weekly manager meetings
• Hold regular staff meetings with your team to communicate any key information
• Create a fun, happy environment within the store.
Assistant Store Manager - January 2013 up to April 2013

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Represent the company in a professional manner at all times. Maintain and enhance the company's image when interacting with guests, associates and vendors.
• Must not have restricted availability; willing to work nights, weekends, holidays and at neighboring locations.
• Helps out on coverage for store shifts in case of emergency or call-outs.
• Observe all personnel at the beginning and throughout their shift for compliance with appearance and uniform policies, customer service expectations, quality control and company standards.
