Sommelier

As a qualified sommelier I have WEST wine qualification 1 and 2, I am currently studying for level 3. I have experience hosting and organizing wine tastings, food pairing events and educational talks. I have spent time on vineyards and enjoy learning about every aspect of production, from agriculture to distribution.

Scuba Diving

I am fortunate enough to have been to some amazing dive sites in my life, I have completed my Open Water course and my ultimate goal would be to keep studying until I am a Divemaster. I have a marine tank at home so when I'm not in the water the sea is never very far away!

Creative Writing

I started writing young as a way to express myself, as a child I had my writing published in a local magazine. In university I found that the part of my course I enjoyed the most and got the majority of my marks in was essay writing and research. Recently I've used my writing skills to review wines and write short blog style pieces that were used at The Ivy Dubai when I was head sommelier there.
