• Review and valuation of Contractor and Consultant's Interim Payment Application in preparation of IPC for recommendation.
• Preparation of cost estimates for various construction project variations and submission for management approval.
• Review and evaluate Contractor's variation claims and proposal and ensures compliance with the project requirements, drawings and specifications.
• Preparation and submission of Variation Order Recommendation Report to Client.
• Preparation of Interim Payment Application to be submitted to Client for approval.
• Preparation of Contractor's Final Account and close out for compliance with Contract requirements.
• Attending weekly commercial meeting.
• Responsible in quantity take-off within a measurement team for the production of Bill of Quantities.
• Benchmarking and pricing for estimating and preparation of Bills of Quantities.
• Assisting in preparation of Cost Plan and Estimates from Concept to Detailed Design stages.
• Assisting in quantity take-off and preparation of Master planning which covers a 5-year period development.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Line Manager and Commission Manager/Lead.
• Reviewing and understanding of Subcontract.
• Preparing Weekly and Monthly Cost Report.
• Preparing and submission of monthly Interim Payment Application.
• Reconciling and preparing of variations and prolongation costs claims to client where applicable to meet the project requirement.
• Liaising with clients quantity surveyors, engineers and other professionals engaged for the project in relation to processing payment application and payment certificate.
• Monitoring daily progress of the site in relation to preparation of interim payment application.
• Quantity take-off in preparation and submission of tender documents.
• Assisting in procurement and cost control to ensure the project will meet the allocated budget.
• Preparing progress report in relation to valuation of subcontractor's interim payment application.
• Review and submit Subcontractor Interim Payment Application recommendation report in preparation for the approval of Interim Payment Certificate against engineer's instruction.
• Quantity take-off to produce an estimate to substantiate the areas with potential changes
• Preparing and submitting report (i.e. Daily report, back charges, etc.) as assigned by the Line Managers in coordination with Site Engineers.
• Preparing Monthly progress report for the purpose of Monthly Payment Application.
• Conducting site visit for the purpose of assessing and evaluating subcontractor payment application in coordination with site engineers.
• Assisting in closing out rejected inspection requests and NCRs by providing necessary documents and corrected actions in compliances to the requirements for Client's approval.
• Any other job related based on the project requirements assigned by the Line Managers.
• Leading a team of Assistant Quantity Surveyors in preparation of bill of quantities for pre-tender or pre-contract stages.
• Preparing and submitting bill of quantities report to the client as well as queries during the preparation of BOQ.
• Developing and maintaining a close working relationship with the clients and their teams in achieving an accurate and best quality outcome of the projects.
• Liaising with clients and other professionals involved for the project in relation to any conflict that will arise during the duration of the project in preparation of the bill of quantities.
• Project supervision, reviewing and monitoring the tender measurements to ensure the completeness and quality of bill of quantities deliverable.
• Working closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor and Team Leader to ensure a high-quality standards and consistent level of service.
• Assisting and continuous involvement in quantity take-off related to the scope of works for the project.
• Responsible in preparation of bill of quantities by ensuring an accurate and quality measurement of all Structural and Architectural elements and Reinforcement as per client contract package.
• Carrying out bulk checking and evaluating the completeness and quality of measurement related in the scope of works.
• Responsible in raising queries where there are conflicts and/or discrepancies arise in the structural, architectural, and reinforcement drawings during the measurement phase.
• Liaising with the client in estimating the required man-hours to complete the preparation of bill of quantities.
• Checking and studying the completeness of plans, details, layouts, and specification of the project.
• Reviewing and updating the measurement progress to ensure the required timeline will be achieved.
• Responsible in quantity take-off of Structural, Architectural and Reinforcement elements included in the scope of works related in preparation of bill of quantities.
