● Responsible for monitoring and reporting Quality Control aspects of contracted work scope package(s). Typical activities to be conducted include reviewing Quality Plans; ensuring compliance to Quality Plan + Inspection and Test Plan requirements and other QA/QC documentation; verifying that all equipment production and testing is performed in accordance with the contract requirements.
● Work in accordance with Contract specifications / ETPs / Applicable Client Standards and statutory requirements.

● Monitor and report on Subcontractor / Supplier compliance with key quality procedures and documentation relating to contract work packages, ensuring Subcontractor / Supplier conformity with contract quality requirements, relevant codes/Standards and good site practices.
● Oversee the work package production activities within the parameters of the approved project documentation, quality plans and Inspection and Test Plans.
● Monitor and report on Subcontractor / Supplier quality programmes including but not limited to: material receiving inspection / documentation and certificate review, manufacturing inspection (including welding / Fabrication / NDE operations), single unit testing (SUT), factory acceptance testing (FAT), SITs, punch listing, as-built preparation, and final documentation review and equipment release all in compliance with the requirements of Contract GoC specification.
● Verification of process documentation to ensure compliance to agreed contract documentation.
● Identify areas of concern and report on quality problems as they arise Assist in determining root causes and recommending corrective and preventive actions.

● During the tender phase help to prepare the scopes of work and evaluate of the bids to ensure feasibility of the proposed tenders and that the contractor has the technical qualifications to execute the work.
● Ensure contractor completes its work in a timely and satisfactory ensuring delivery of the shipbuilding within the project budget and schedule.
● During the detail engineering and fabrication phases, review, audit and guide the contractor work relative marine and offloading systems. This work includes review and approval of engineering activities, attend testing of critical equipment, ensure the work is performed in accordance with specification and requirements set by Company, Class and other relevant authorities.
● Ensure the project is on schedule and on budget by monitoring by proactively assisting the contractor where possible.
● Inform and advise management on the progress of the Marine systems and provide recommendations as to any actions to be taken toward the contractor.
● Support management and other parts of the project throughout the planning and execution phases in order to ensure the successful completion.
● Provide support and assistance to operations in preparation of the operation manuals to help them maximize safety and performance of the vessel.
● Demonstrate a commitment to Vista maritime Safety and Environmental values at all times and ensure all contractors also adopt these core values in their activities.
