 Inspection all painting equipments like compressor, blasting pot, nozzles

Covidien is seeking a Process Quality Engineer to perform Quality Engineering activities associated with process characterization, production line transfer, process monitor and product acceptance testing for on-going manufacturing support for drug coated balloon (DCB) technology. This person must also ensure these activities are accomplished in compliance with applicable industry/regulatory standards and company quality objectives.

•Responsible for the test and control of in-coming and in-process raw materials in accordance with established quantity and technical specifications to insure optimum results.
•Acquires knowledge of slip, glaze, mold and kiln technology.
•Monitors and analyzes all the technical phases of the manufacturing process to insure optimum results.
•Develops and recommends manufacturing improvements.
•Continuously monitors and analyzes the production, testing and adjustment of slip and glaze in process as compared to established quantity standards and technical specifications. Directs corrective changes within the scope of one’s authority or recommends such modifications or changes as one believes necessary and reasonable to maintain optimum results.
•Performs assigned projects that deal with slip, glaze, molds and kiln firing designed to result in recommendations to reduce costs, improve production results and/or increases production.
• Continuously monitors reports on ware losses and production and recommends modifications or changes to maintain optimum efficiency.
•Responsible for preparing and maintaining a technical manual defining the procedures for testing in-process and in-coming raw materials and other control tests performed by the laboratory.
•Prepares and submits reports on assigned projects.
•Investigates properties of new materials, including developing production testing programs for these materials.
•Maintains operating records necessary to control and analyze raw materials, slip and glaze properties.
