Responsibilities:
• Resourcing- Understanding client requirements and the job description and resourcing candidates from different job portals.
• Working on positions for Saudi Arabia and UAE.
• Maintaining an excel sheet and data base of potential candidates. Updating this internal database with new candidate information on a regular basis.
• Telephonic Interviews- Talking to senior level candidates about job opportunities across the GCC. Gathering and qualifying information from them according to job specifications.
• Conducting multiple telephonic interviews per day and filtering/ shortlisting candidates for open positions, assessing their relevant knowledge, technical skills, soft skills, experience and aptitude.
• Acting as a point of contact and building influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
• Reporting- Preparing daily shortlist reports to submit to the director.
Responsibilities:
• Spearheaded various technical and non-technical trainings for skill enhancement and personality development of employees:
o Tata Code of Conduct and POSH sessions for 223 Employees.
o Designed and delivered the Behavior and Etiquette trainings for blue collar employees.
o Designed and delivered the Positive Attitude, Working in Teams, Soft Skills and Body Language trainings.
o Organized Safety and Health related Trainings for the employees.
o Organized Self Defense Training for 140 female employees.
• Conducted Online HR portal (My Compass) training for 184 employees in batches of 10 each and completed the project within two weeks.
• Recruited and Selected 100+ company payroll employees in the plant set-up phase (2 years).
• Organized Employee Engagement and Welfare programs (festivals celebrations / welfare schemes - health index improvement, family engagements, Safety and self-defense fairs / social responsibility through school tie ups etc.)
• Continuous improvement of Online processes and procedures like My Compass Portal, SAP (Leave and Attendance & Payroll) and Mediclaim management.
• Strengthening the Employee Relationship through various monthly Employee Counseling sessions.
• Ensured the settlement of Employee Grievances related to salaries and Interpersonal Conflicts.
Accomplishments:
• Awarded Certificate of Excellence for training 184 employees on My Compass HR Portal in two weeks
which included 120 Computer Illiterate employees.
• Single handedly designed and implemented several Employee campaigns-
o Implemented the Punch Googly Campaign (Tag line- No More Chalta hai,
Buddy Punch to Banta Hai). Reduced the number of miss punches by 70% in 3 months.
o Employee Health Improvement Campaigns like “Champa Ke Nuske”.
o Campaigns to increase awareness index of HR policies from 50% to 80% in 6 months.
• Improved the Health Index of a focused group of 48 female employees; Hemoglobin from below 10
to above 10 in 3 months through various counseling sessions, iron supplements and dietary changes.
• Selected to lead the implementation of corporate trainings and recruitment processes in the
Pantnagar factory. Attended 2 week workshop at Bangalore for the same.
