Achievements:
• Successfully procured new machinery from Europe and USA worth USD 21.91 million with 9% savings as part of the Mirpur Mathelo, De-Bottlenecking Project.
• Served as an active member of the negotiators team from the company's side for a USD 111 million EPC contract with M/s Nordex, Germany to set-up a 50 MW Wind Farm in Jhimpir, Sindh.
• Spearheaded Plantsite Goth Machhi 30x days Turnaround's Procurement. The Plant restarted successfully on 28 May 2015.
• Necessitated procurement of new high value hardware from abroad through international bidding reducing cost by
10%.

Responsibilities:
• Maintaining machinery and equipment acquired from all over Europe and USA with annual turn-over up-to USD 50 million.
• Spearheading the replacement of old machinery / equipment after completion of its stipulated life.
• Overseeing all elements of the procurement cycle right from requirement gathering and preparation of documentation to placing and tracking order progress until final acquisition.
• Analyzing existent resource requirements, breaking down the jobs in hand and aligning the same with items mentioned on the BOQ to ensure perpetual availability.
• Obtaining quotes and formulating price comparison sheets, detailing on technical and commercial competencies and forwarding the same for approval.
• Discussing terms of supply and deployment of material procured on projects with selected suppliers and subcontractors approved by the management.
• Conducting market surveys on the prices of the various items in the local and international market, arranging for overseas procurement and facilitating L/C's and other commercial instruments for financing with accounts department.
• Maintaining the procurement status report and keeping the data updated on roster at all times, managing procurement across multiple sites and securing all required clearances from port and customs authorities.
Responsibilities:
• Supervised successful installation & commissioning of Yokogawa DCS on Utilities Plants.
• Oversaw successful overhauling of Bently Nevada Vibration Monitoring System (3500 series) on Ammonia and Synthesis Compressors at Plantsite
• Performed area surveillance, troubleshooting, repair of field instruments and various control systems.
• Managed the planning and implementation of daily, weekly, shutdown and turnaround jobs.
• Worked on selection and finalization of PIDs, primary & secondary sketches, materials estimation, ordering and mapping the field installations of various instruments.
• Gained hands on experience on Yokogawa CS300 Distributed Control System (DCS) and Bently Nevada 3500 Vibration Monitoring System.
• Coordinated preparation of programs for periodic preventive and corrective maintenance of all instrumentation equipment in the plant and analyzed it's performance and reliability.
