Currently working within PMO that supports Program and ensure the Primavera and PPM tools are used effectively and pragmatically to enable Program Management and governance. This Program includes Three Medical Cities & Four Hospital projects amounting 878 Million USD, situated in different cities of Saudi Arabia. Job responsibilities are:
• Ensure the Hospital Program has the right planning tools, templates and work instructions to provide consistent and accurate project plans.
• Provide planning assurance to check and validate the integrity of the plans and provide rolled up reporting on key milestones and dependencies for program.
• Ongoing review, update and implementation of changes to the planning strategy, approach, templates, process and work instructions.
• Engage and build effective relationships with key stakeholders to ensure plans are consistent and provide the accurate data required by the business.
• Develop and maintain a central view of plans and up to date accurate milestone and dependency and slippage reports and provide support to program managers in managing program level plans.
• Facilitate planning workshops to ensure all key teams have contributed to the plan, and support the project manager in the development of their plan, checking integrity and logic and critical path.
• Provide management reporting on progress against milestones at program level and maintaining high level (level 0) plans.
• Support the maintenance of resource plans and allocation to projects.
• Identify and centrally manage program dependencies.
• Provide training, coaching and mentoring to the PPM community on developing plans, work breakdown structures and estimating as well as ongoing management of plans.
• Flag and escalate non conformances.
• Monitor performance of Program using progress measurement and Earned Value management systems.
• Develop and implement plan versus actual progress curves.
• Evaluate allocation of resources and provide recommendations to maintain required progress.
• Evaluate critical paths in the project schedules and evaluate alternative schedule options to identify optimum project strategies or resolve problems before and during execution.
• Prepare Extension of Time Claims for projects which are behind schedule due to design changes.
Worked in a PMO environment within the Capacity Development Program that supports MODON Projects Department and handles Infrastructure, electrical, water and building Projects and Programs for Western Region, Saudi Arabia.
Responsibilities:
• Developing and implementing program control procedures, policies, and guidelines.
• Developing and implementing reporting structure for the week and the month.
• Conducting workshops for program controls which include schedule management, change management, and scheduling tools.
• Evaluating tender documents of proposed contractors and construction managers and Program Manager Companies.
• Preparing and implementing standardized WBS & WBS dictionary across MODON Projects.
• Preparing and Updating the Master Schedule for Western Region Program containing all projects.
• Escalating issues and risks to senior management on a regional level.
• Successfully managing the relationships between the project control functions—estimating, planning/scheduling, cost control, and risk management.
• Creating, implementing, and executing proper controls to proactively support, monitor, and communicate budget, actual status, forecast costs, labor hours and quantities for client infrastructure programs.
• Developing, publishing, and promoting the use of change control procedures.
• Motivating the project team to define corrective actions for implementation.
• Analyzing Baseline and issue network-logic-driven schedules that meet the needs of, and are used by, the Program management team.
• Updating Primavera schedules on monthly basis for MODON Portal (Earned Value Management System).
• Updating Portal with issues, risks and progress photographs.

1) Worked on Road/Bridge Project (Contract Value: 53.6 Million USD / 1.70 Million Man-hours) with BECHTEL as Consultant and ROYAL COMMISSION as Client, in Jubail Industrial Area.
2) Worked on Five Bridge / Under Pass Projects for Dammam City (Contract Value 165 Million USD).
Job responsibilities were:
• Prepare and formulate Baseline Level IV Contract Master Schedule which includes contractual milestones, mobilization, technical/material submittals, shop drawings, procurement and detailed construction activities, in Primavera Project Planner (Version 6 / Release 6).
• Prepare detailed Manpower / Equipment Plans (Crew Wise) through proper loading of man-hours & machine hours based on assumed production rates, in the scheduling tool.
• Prepare, analyze and identify Critical activities of the project and inform project team about these activities so that work in advance can be done in order to avoid any delays.
• Prepare & generate Weekly Delay Activities Report through Software Primavera and submit it for management review which helps them to take corrective measures against these delays.
• Prepare 4 Week Look Ahead Schedule with site superintendents’ support and monitor it on daily basis.
• Prepare Daily, Weekly and Monthly Reports for Client submission.
• Prepare Pareto Chart for delayed activities and show to management the major delay impacts on the schedule.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager for construction schedule, resource requirements, procurement and subcontracting issues.
1) Worked for SAUDI ARAMCO Wastewater & Sanitary wastewater projects in Safaniya, Tanajib, Abu Ali & Dhahran Plants (LSTK 101 Million USD).
2) Worked on Petro Rabigh In-Plant Project in Yanbu with SAUDI ARAMCO as client, which includes Construction of Ethane & Butane Lines for Petro Rabigh Oil Refinery in Rabigh. (LSTK 38 Million USD)
Job responsibilities at projects were:
• Prepares master schedule for the project in Primavera Project Planner including engineering, procurement & construction, in coordination with project team.
• Suggests corrective actions in order to avoid any slippage in the schedule.
• Coordinates Engineering and procurement department project teams to achieve optimum development and sustainment of project schedules.
• Oversees problems such as design changes, backlogs, and restrictions.
• Raises flag in case of variation from standard benchmarks / budget.
• Regulates & monitors subcontractors’ activities/schedules.
Worked on DG Khan Cement Khairpur, Chakwal, Pakistan. DG Cement Project involves 4500 Tons of equipment fabrication and erection, having overall 3 Million man-hours. Job Responsibilities were:
• Ensures that Planning Engineers prepare and distribute 3-months and 4-week look ahead schedules to Discipline In-charges Discipline Engineers and Material Controller.
• Updates and monitors Level-III plan keeping in view overall master schedule.
• Generates and analyzes standard reports related to progress and efficiency on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Ensure that extra work is properly estimated and monitored and that subcontract work progress is included in the overall scheme.
• Prepare/ Verify invoicing and billing formalities in Co-ordination with Project manager and Quantity surveyor. Preparation of Cash flow for the secured projects in co-ordination with Project Manager and Finance personnel.
• Prepares Project Windup Report at completion of the project.
