Business Development Engineer
Identify and research construction market trends to ensure up-to-date market intelligence and predict competitive growth initiatives. Develop and optimize methods for modification and functionalization of biosensor surfaces. Perform work in a clean room setting assisting in fabrication and qualification of novel biosensors.
• Led device fabrication team in the design and implementation of FET biosensors via standard semiconductor tools in cleanroom.
• Performed electrical, mechanical, and thermal properties analysis for semiconductor, using thin film metrology tools such as SEM, AFM, 4-point probe resistance measurements, Raman spectroscopy.
• Provided process development and applications support for graphene-based biosensing technology (improved wafer yield to 90%)
• Developed beta software for biosensing platform using C, Python and LabView (real-time data display, analysis and baseline corrections for further binding kinetics analysis)
• Collaborated closely with a customer to fine-tune binding assays, improve biosensor sensitivity and prototype bench-top tool.

Lead research efforts in carbon thin films synthesis and characterization for semiconductor, optical and biological applications.
