Material Inspection - (Valves, flanges, plates, I, H-beams, paint..) dimensional, visual check. - Cross verifying with MTC, PO, DN and project requisition.
Familiarized with various grades of Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel.
Preparation of Quality dossier as per NICO Procedure.
Carried out inspection on various jobs - Fit-up, Visual (fabrication), NDT(DP and MPI) inspection, Painting inspection.
Carried out various tests - Leak test of valves, heat exchangers, pipelines, cylinder head etc. Motor run test at no load, Salt bresle test, Material toughness & roughness test.
Co-ordinated all documentation activities.
Experienced with tools & equipments like Vernier caliper, micrometer, measuring tape, Chart recorder, Pressure gauge,
Part of Nico team for Maintenance shutdown at ENOC plant - Jebel Ali.
• Involved in repair works of Shiplift
Structures for Royal Navy of Oman - Cutting the corroded DIN 1700 steel angles/beams and replacing it with S355J2 steel grade, which involves gas cutting, welding, grit blasting, painting, timber decking, fastening etc.
• Selection of steel, welding electrodes, tools and equipment as per the Lloyd’s Register standard.
• Complete documentation of whole project from receiving inquiry till the completion certificate.
• Repair work of STBD Engine fan overhauling for the Al Noores ship - Royal court affairs Oman, which involves changing the motor bearing, dynamic balancing the fan etc.
• Involved in repair works of the pontoon for the Ministry of defence - Oman, which involves, gas cutting, welding, roller fabrication, blasting, painting, GRP resin coating, timber decking etc.
• Familiar with various power tools.
• As a part of business promotion, visited various clients in Oman to explain about the services that the company has provided in Oman.To keep the sales going.
• Built strong customer relation to gain the maximum output.
