Project: Construction of staff accommodation and site office facilities (Early work Package) in Ras Laffan for 1300 people and site office facilities including external work, landscaping, roadworks, street light and drainage system. Client: Qatar Gas, Chiyoda technip joint venture (Qatar).
Duties and Responsibility
• Prepare cost estimates and technical proposals for tender submissions within the scope of appropriate drawings, specifications, quantities, and cost data.
• Review, analyze and interpret construction drawings and Bills of Quantity to undertake detailed take offs in the format prescribed by the Project method of measurement using recognized dimension and abstract sheet methods. Use of auto-cad processes made to expedite takeoffs.
• Preparation of Bill of Quantities as per the specification, drawings and Condition of contract.
• Prepare document for inviting quotations & prepare comparison to get competitive quotations for pricing of Tender
• Float, receive, evaluate the inquiry for the sub-contract items, prepare a detailed comparison of the quality of the items and the price quoted by them, obtain the Group Commercial Manager & Project Manager approval and appoint the appropriate sub-contractors.
• Preparation of monthly Interim Payment Application (IPA) and follow up with client and consultant for certification.
• Managing variations & potential Claims (notification, preparation, negotiation, etc.).
• Preparation of Monthly Project Status Report and Cost Report.
• Implements cost controls and financial control procedures as outlined in the construction contracts.
• Evaluation of subcontractor’s interim payment application and prepare subcontractor’s payment certificate.
Project: Construction of 1100 Villas and Infrastructure development for Mohamed bin Zayed city, Fujairah. Total value of that contract Dh 1.75 billion which is based on lump sum and measure and pay contract.

Duties and Responsibility
• Prepare the Valuation report for every month until the project completion with all the supporting documents to keep track of all jobs completed.
• Prepare the payment certificates for sub-contractors once payment certificates are received and based on the jobs completed; arrange to pay them in according to terms specified in their contracts.
• Prepare cost reports clearly indicating the status of processed, received and pending payments, obtain approval from the Commercial Manager and project director.
• Managing variations & potential Claims (notification, preparation, negotiation, etc.).
• Prepare detailed specifications and details estimates of additional cost for the additional work /scope of work in case of a variation i.e. a change in approved drawing or any addition to the job in order to obtain approval of the client.
• Prepare final accounts for the subcontractor once the job is completed, coordinate with the site engineer & Project manager to confirm all works are completed, prepare and attach necessary supporting documents, obtain approval of the Commercial Manager and Audit department in order to process the final payment certificate.

This project construction of RCC building Frames, Internal & external finishing works, MEP services and landscaping. Total value of that contract Dh 320 million which is based on lump sum contract. • Preparation of revised BOQ & Material Schedules.
• Preparation of Bar Bending schedule.

made up of three super blocks to form a mixed-use development comprising 16 buildings. Phase
3 includes retail, office, residential, community, mosque and a 5 Star Hotel and will be linked by
pedestrian orientated courtyards. Value - QAR 2.68 billion.

Pre Contract service for a scheme covering approximate 92, 000m2 of commercial offices. The
proposed Works comprise of the design and construction of shell & core commercial and retail
buildings, built on top of a two level basement providing car parking and plant space, associated
external works and infrastructure. Value QR 600 Million.
• Lusail City Plot 1A Qatar Airways Residential, Lusail, Qatar
The proposed Works comprise the construction of a residential development (284no. apartments
- mixture of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments) in 3 residential towers, which includes retail units, a
kindergarten facility, two levels of basement car parking, 3 levels of podium car parking,
associated services and external works. The project has a total Built up Area of 103, 126m2 and
a total Gross Internal Floor Area of 93, 023m2. Value - QR 533 Million.

• Preparing cost plan at initial stage and detailing in the course of design development
• Preparation of tender documents, participating tender pre bid meetings and post tender negotiations and tender evaluation.
• Preparation monthly cost forecasts, Certification monthly payment and evaluating variation
• Sub Contract management including price negotiations, drafting agreements and payment certification
• Preparation of cost estimate and advise to client for design changes
• Preparing and reviewing payment certificate of contractors and consultants.
