All local and foreign purchases were executed through local & international tenders following Government rules of Public Procurement Act 2006 and Public Procurement Regulations.
• Direct involvement of distributing the fertilizers both imported and produced in the factory throughout the year to the dealers of different Districts as per allotted plan from the Ministry of Agriculture via BCIC head office. Preparing and sending the daily report of plant production, Sales report, and stock position of fertilizer to different offices of the Corporation and Government.
• Direct involvement of material planning & Inventory control of all sorts of General items, Raw materials, Chemicals, spare parts, equipments, vessels, etc and maintaining minimum/maximum stock level. Identifying slow/medium/fast moving items, obsolete & dead items proper actions would taken to keep minimum capital blockage.
• Direct involvement with Factory Production, Maintenance & Management making close liaison with other divisional heads like Administration, Operation, Maintenance, Accounts & Technical and with Managing Director.
• In absence of Managing Director acted as Managing Director.
• Acted as head of many investigation Committees like sudden shut-down of plant, Failure of any big Machine, Line, Vessel, Equipment, Partial plant, etc. After investigating submitting final report finding the cause of incident, responsibility and remedial proposals to the Authority within given very much short period.

• As Solid Handling Maintenance (SHM) section In-charge under Maintenance & Technical Services (MTS) Division was responsible for preparing plan and executing maintenance/repair, modification/development works of all conveyor belt lines, portal scrapper, lump breaker, polythene bag making plant, bag sewing machines, barge loader, etc starting from Urea prill tower bottom to Barge/Truck/Rail wagon loading via Urea bulk godown Urea bag sewing floor, Bagging floor for to meet the commercial division’s annual demand of continuous and uninterrupted supply/dispatch of Urea to the dealers of different districts as per allocation from BCIC head office.
• Making annual budgets for procurement of different spare parts, conveyor belts, motors, Gear couplings, Fluid couplings, consumables, etc; needed for the section to ensure continuous & uninterrupted bagging & Urea delivery system alive.
• As Planning Research &Development (RPD) section In-charge under Technical Division was responsible for co-operating, co-coordinating Production Division/Section And Maintenance Division/Section in executing maintenance/repair, modification/development, short shut-down, Overhauling works of different Boilers, Heat exchangers, Vessels, Equipment, Machines, Pipelines, Cooling towers, etc of the Factory.
• Arranging & assisting the daily Technical meeting/discussions among interdepartmental sections of Production & Maintenance Divisions on current and future probable conditions of the Factory and making report.
• Arranging & assisting for preparing technical specifications of important equipments, Vessels, Machines, etc of the factory for procurement. Keeping liaison with BCIC’s inter-project, extending technical co-operation whenever necessary and carrying out any other duties imparted on.
• Planning, making & monitoring of short shut-down, Overhauling, important big jobs schedule whenever necessary for the factory.

i) Two (2) Polythene bag manufacturing units having capacity of producing 1.20 crores bags per year.
ii) Eight (8) lines Bagging/Sewing system having bagging capacity of 30 MT/Hour of 50 Kg/Bag per machine.
iii) A huge and long conveyor belt systems for transporting capacity of 230 MT/Hour bulk Urea from prill section to bulk godown and henceforth to the Karnafuly riverside bagging section nearly 2 (Two) kilometers from the factory.
iv) Bagged urea stacking system from sewing floor to bagging floor.
v) The ship loading system capacity of 250 MT/Hour both bulk urea from direct prill/bulk godown and bagged urea from the bagging section to the ships.

v) Painting shop-Facilities for painting different pipe lines, equipment, Vessels, Structures, etc throughout the year and during Overhauling of the factory to prevent from rusting and to increase fine aesthetic look.
