The ACB is the first Aeronautical College in Bangladesh approved by Edexcel UK to offer BTEC( Bussines & Technical Education Council ) ND( National Diploma) and HND (Higher National Diploma) in Aerospace Engineering. At the moment ACB running UK NQF( Qualification & Credit Framework) Level 5 qualifications progression to Level 6.
As a teacher I take the classes of core subjects (mathematics, mechanical engineering related ), make assignments, launch to students, asses the assignments done by students, submit the final assessed assignment to academic Board for qualification as per BTEC Edexcel, UK curriculum.
• As Head of the Factory was responsible for managing, supervising, monitoring, controlling, co-operating and co-coordinating among field officers, workers & staffs in executing the manufacturing process, maintenance, repair, modification, etc works of the factory which consists of the following 3 (Three) units:-
I. S.S. Crockery Plant- Manufacturing capacity of 6-7 MT/day stainless steel (Non-magnetic) household crockery (Plate, bowl, trays, table wares, etc) of different types, sizes and varieties.
II. ERC Plant- Manufacturing capacity of 5-7 MT/Day carbon spring steel fastening railway track clips through furnace heating, quenching & Tempering process for to achieve high quality clips that are used in Bangladesh Railway.
III. S.S. Pipe Plant- 3 (Three) production lines of manufacturing capacity of 4 to 6 MT/day stainless steel decorative (round) pipes of different types, sizes and varieties.
• To keep close contact with head office for to run the factory, marketing the products, administer the management locally, draw and pay the salaries to more than 300 employees.
• Managing and executing all sorts of activities of the factory.
Description of Work:
• Direct monitoring and control of commercial division under which were Local purchase, foreign purchase, MPIC Section including all stores (Chemical stores, spare parts stores, General stores & Receiving bay stores) and Marketing section.
• Direct monitoring and control for the preparation of annual purchase plan (both Local & Foreign) for the factory to meet the requirement of uninterrupted production, operation, maintenance, repairing, short shut-down, Annual Overhauling, etc. of the factory. All local and foreign purchases were executed through local & international tenders following Government rules of Public Procurement Act 2006 and Public Procurement Regulations.
• Direct involvement of distributing the fertilizers both imported and produced in the factory throughout the year to the dealers of different Districts as per allotted plan from the Ministry of Agriculture via BCIC head office. Preparing and sending the daily report of plant production, Sales report, and stock position of fertilizer to different offices of the Corporation and Government.
• Direct involvement of material planning & Inventory control of all sorts of General items, Raw materials, Chemicals, spare parts, equipments, vessels, etc and maintaining minimum/maximum stock level. Identifying slow/medium/fast moving items, obsolete & dead items proper actions would taken to keep minimum capital blockage.
• Direct involvement with Factory Production, Maintenance & Management making close liaison with other divisional heads like Administration, Operation, Maintenance, Accounts & Technical and with Managing Director.
• In absence of Managing Director acted as Managing Director.
• Acted as head of many investigation Committees like sudden shut-down of plant, Failure of any big Machine, Line, Vessel, Equipment, Partial plant, etc. After investigating submitting final report finding the cause of incident, responsibility and remedial proposals to the Authority within given very much short period.
Description of Work:
• As Solid Handling Maintenance (SHM) section In-charge under Maintenance & Technical Services (MTS) Division was responsible for preparing plan and executing maintenance/repair, modification/development works of all conveyor belt lines, portal scrapper, lump breaker, polythene bag making plant, bag sewing machines, barge loader, etc starting from Urea prill tower bottom to Barge/Truck/Rail wagon loading via Urea bulk godown Urea bag sewing floor, Bagging floor for to meet the commercial division’s annual demand of continuous and uninterrupted supply/dispatch of Urea to the dealers of different districts as per allocation from BCIC head office.
• Making annual budgets for procurement of different spare parts, conveyor belts, motors, Gear couplings, Fluid couplings, consumables, etc; needed for the section to ensure continuous & uninterrupted bagging & Urea delivery system alive.
• As Planning Research &Development (RPD) section In-charge under Technical Division was responsible for co-operating, co-coordinating Production Division/Section And Maintenance Division/Section in executing maintenance/repair, modification/development, short shut-down, Overhauling works of different Boilers, Heat exchangers, Vessels, Equipment, Machines, Pipelines, Cooling towers, etc of the Factory.
• Arranging & assisting the daily Technical meeting/discussions among interdepartmental sections of Production & Maintenance Divisions on current and future probable conditions of the Factory and making report.
• Arranging & assisting for preparing technical specifications of important equipments, Vessels, Machines, etc of the factory for procurement. Keeping liaison with BCIC’s inter-project, extending technical co-operation whenever necessary and carrying out any other duties imparted on.
• Planning, making & monitoring of short shut-down, Overhauling, important big jobs schedule whenever necessary for the factory.
Description of Work:
• As Second senior officer of Plant Maintenance (PM) section under Maintenance & Technical Services Division (MTS) was responsible for co-operating and co-coordinating among officers, workers & staffs in executing the daily routine maintenance/repair works, preventive maintenance, modification/development works, short shutdown, Annual overhauling works of different Boilers, Heat exchangers, Vessels, Equipment, Machines, Pipelines, Cooling towers, etc of Ammonia, Urea and Utility sections under Production Division of the factory.

Description of Work:
1. As Second senior officer of Finished Product Maintenance (FPM) section under Maintenance & Technical Services (MTS) Division was responsible for supervising, co-operating and co-coordinating among field officers, workers & staffs in executing the daily routine maintenance/repair works, preventive maintenance, modification/development works of FPM section which consists of the followings:-
i) Two (2) Polythene bag manufacturing units having capacity of producing 1.20 crores bags per year.
ii) Eight (8) lines Bagging/Sewing system having bagging capacity of 30 MT/Hour of 50 Kg/Bag per machine.
iii) A huge and long conveyor belt systems for transporting capacity of 230 MT/Hour bulk Urea from prill section to bulk godown and henceforth to the Karnafuly riverside bagging section nearly 2 (Two) kilometers from the factory.
iv) Bagged urea stacking system from sewing floor to bagging floor.
v) The ship loading system capacity of 250 MT/Hour both bulk urea from direct prill/bulk godown and bagged urea from the bagging section to the ships.
• Assisting Section In-charge in preparing annual budget for procuring different spare parts, equipment, conveyor belts, motors, Gear coupling, Fluid coupling, consumables, etc needed for the section to ensure continuous & uninterrupted bagging & Urea delivery system alive.
• Assisting Section In-charge in preparing plan/program, executing and making reports of Annual Overhauling.
Description of Work:
1. As In-charge of Central Mechanical Workshop (CMW) section under Maintenance & Technical Services (MTS) Division was responsible for supervising, monitoring, co-operating and co-coordinating among field officers, workers & staffs in executing the daily routine maintenance/repair works, preventive maintenance, modification/development works for the factory from CMW section which consists of the following sub-sections :-
i) Machine shop-Full fledged machine shop consisting of Many Lathe machines, Shapers, Planer, Drill machines, Vertical Lathe, etc to fulfill the requirement of the factory.
ii) Welding and Fabrication shop-Full fledged welding and Fabrication facilities to meet the requirement of modification, repair, manufacturing of Heat Exchanger, Coolers, Pressure Vessels, Pipe lines, etc of the factory by any type of welding from Electric arc welding, Argon welding, Gas welding, Brazing, etc,
iii) Valve repairing shop- Facilities of Repairing, Testing any type of valves like Globe, Gate, Butterfly, Needle, Safety, etc valves in different pipe lines, Vessels, Equipments, Boilers, etc of the factory
iv) Carpentry shop-Facilities to meet the requirement of building any structures, scaffoldings, working aids, making different gaskets, sealers, etc needed for the factory.
v) Painting shop-Facilities for painting different pipe lines, equipment, Vessels, Structures, etc throughout the year and during Overhauling of the factory to prevent from rusting and to increase fine aesthetic look.
vi) Forging and molding shop-White re-metalling facilities for journal bearing, thrust bearing pads, etc of high speed machines.
vii) Spare parts Manufacturing Cell-To make common-uncommon all types of costlier, scarcity type; readily un-available spares were manufactured through this section.
2. My job responsibilities were also for the modification, repair, manufacturing of Heat Exchanger, Coolers, Pressure Vessels, Pipe lines, spare parts needed for different sections/Divisions of the factory.
3. Preparing annual budget for procuring different spare parts, raw materials, consumables, etc needed for the above sub-sections to ensure providing continuous & uninterrupted logistic supports to other sections/Divisions of the factory.

Job Comprises of supervision of surveying/ inspecting of testing materials for hull, ship materials and equipments, industrial material, machineries, Plant facilities, surveying of pipe lines, gas lines, Marine structures and other land based steel structures, etc.
In-charge of a 30 MW Diesel Power Station consisting of worldwide renowned West German “MAK” company’s installed following Diesel Generating Sets.
i) Two (2) nos.10500 H.P. 16 cylinder V-Engines of power generating capacity 7.5 MW each.
ii) Five (5) nos.4500 H.P. 8 cylinder Inline Engines of power generating capacity 3.0 MW each.
Job comprises of supervising and monitoring all sorts of 24 Hours operation, routine maintenance (Daily, Weekly, and Monthly, Half yearly, yearly), repair, Overhauling of engines and making & sending reports to the Provincial head office of the Ministry of Electricity.
