• Monitor attendance for over 900+ employees and their updates on the payroll system (Oracle), as well as monitor all kinds of leaves and working hours' balances
• Develop and maintain up - to - date user training manuals and materials
• Prepare notifications of change in salary, salary advancements, deductions, and relocation expenses and record them in the payroll system (Oracle)
• Prepare Final Settlements/End of Service Benefits for resigned/terminated personnel in compliance with UAE labour law and company procedures
• Handle employee’s insurance
• Prepare statistical reports requested by different departments
•Coach and support employees on day to day concerns, career matters, and any arising conflict within their team.
• Perform field visits to keep an open communication channel with store employees
• Support employees and managers during performance reviews and maintain the appraisal system
• Conduct assessment programs to identify potential employees for promotion and classify gaps in skill set
• Develop personal development plans in line with the employee performance appraisal and assessment results in order to improve performance; advise the Training & Development department accordingly and ensure proper monitoring and follow up
• Implement and maintain the Disciplinary Action Matrix in line with applicable policies and procedures & Labour law, and handle disciplinary issues accordingly
• Conduct seasonal studies on different HR metrics such as company turnover, probationary success, disciplinary actions, promotional rates and employee satisfaction survey; generate and analyse related reports and suggest action plans accordingly
• Coach Managers on conflict resolution, handling employee issues, motivating subordinates and building teams, in order to increase productivity and boost employee morale
• Conduct exit interviews and facilitate the exit process including coordination of final settlement, visa cancellation.
• Create ID’s for new employees
• Update contracts for new joiners on ORACLE
• Record employee’ annual leaves and other absences
• Prepare employee-related documents such as salary certificates, salary transfer letters, monthly pay-slips, staff discount cards, transportation passes, NOC’s for visa purposes, etc.
• Issue and activate discount cards for new joiners
• Submit and follow up bank account openings for new joiners and ensure that bank requirements with regards to new applications are met
• Handle all insurance related issues, e.g., additions, deletions, dependents, claims, reimbursements, etc.
• Record all employees' transactions in the payroll system (Oracle) like advances, relocations, deductions, etc. and generate the monthly payroll by following a monthly log sheet
• Conduct in-house training programs to familiarize the new joiners with the C&B policies and procedures
Orientation & rotation within the different departments - spending few weeks in each one taking responsibilities of the daily duties.
