Scope of Work:
Responsible for keeping close liaison with the ECP and Nadra officials in its Election Observation Program. The main aim of the focal person is to get accreditation of more than 43, 000 observers on the Election Day, besides updating the relevant FAFEN officials on the ECP’s initiatives. The senior program officer will act as the focal person for ECP and observer groups. In addition, she will also ensure writing letters to ECP officials in Islamabad and all four Election Provincial Commissioners sharing FAFEN’s observation plan with them.

Team:
The Senior Program Officer (Elections) will work as part of the Communications and Public Outreach Unit and directly report to the Unit Manager. The Unit is responsible for communication, advocacy and liaison with the relevant electoral stakeholders.

Regular Tasks:
1.Correspondence and communication with the Election Commission of Pakistan related to the Election Day observers’ accreditation.
2.Liaison with CSOs for close coordination on election related matters.
3.Keeping track with member organizations and helping them resolve CNIC related issues.
4.To perform any other responsibility as assigned by the Unit Manager.

Conducted an Assessment Survey of the Earthquake hit areas for CARITAS International by using different PRA "Participatory Reflection in Action" techniques. In this study, I acquainted to new development concepts, methods, approaches for getting realistic primary level information supplemented by already available secondary information and production of a reference document for accelerated development actions to share the miseries of extremely needy communities.

In this initiative, a team of Interviewers were trained to conduct a research study in selected districts of NWFP on health issues concerning "mother and child health" I as part of the team worked for NIPS in District Dir on this research study through questionnaire. I enjoyed this useful experience of field based action research which not only enhanced my interviewing skills but also knew how to get first hand (primary data) from the grass-roots communities and get grey areas for upstream policy formulation on health issues.
