- On the organizing team for TedxZU (June 2012), the first all Arabic independently organized
conference
- On the organizing team for TedxDubaiWomen, all women speakers conference
- Main point of contact for Zayed University as sponsor of TedxDubai (October 2011)
- On the steering committee for WAGL (Women as Global Leaders) March 2012 (marketing plan
execution, indoor and outdoor branding, social media: #WAGL2012 trended in the UAE)
- Co-created Marketing Plan for Zayed University and all entities under its umbrella including departments, colleges, community engagement arm, etc..
- Assisted in content generation for updated Brand Identity Guidelines to create a strong unified brand image for the university
- Co-created Zayed University’s Communication Plan to help members of the internal community use efficient and effective communication mediums to channel information to the external community
- Created Social Media Guidelines to be used by people acting as brand ambassadors of Zayed University, as part of the communication plan
- Set-up and manage Zayed University’s social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Youtube,
StumbleUpon, Instagram) proficiently and consistently
- Create a trusting relationship with the internal and external community as a verified source of information for the university’s happenings
- Liaise with the Finance Department for all claims, invoices, and purchase orders pertaining to Marketing and Publications department
- Co-organize for all major educational and career exhibitions Zayed University participates in, such as (NAJAH, Careers UAE, GETEX)
- Coorganize annual photo shoots for all university publications
- Highlight students and generate content from them for “ZU Pearls”, a report that showcases
talented students’ work on ZU’s main website
- Account manager and point of liaison for Alumni Association’s annual reunion event June 2012
(theme, logo, collateral, branding materials, etc…)
- Account manager and point of liaison for Development and External Affairs Department to provide
Ramadan and Eid gifts for VIPs and potential donors
- Account manager and point of liaison for Human Resources Department to create a logo and flyer
for the new Graduate Development Program, Madaar (May 2012)
