To deal with any QA/QC related matters internally with the Client/Consultant and Sub-Contractors.
To support the PM in implementing/reviewing the QMS in line with the Project Quality Plan in the
project.
Preparing documents like Method Statements, ITP’s co-coordinating with various discipline engineers.
Implementing checklists for inspections and reviewing the same.
Conducting required inspections (material and work)/ pre-inspections in line with method statement, ITP, specifications and related records for sub-contractor’s work.
To review and finalize all documents including incoming material submittals from suppliers are meeting the client/project requirements.
Preventing external rejections and coordinating with consultants for inspection.
Updating or ensuring the updation of the inspection log on a daily basis as applicable.
Maintaining all inspection records and other quality related records.
Preparing and submitting the Monthly QA/QC Reports as per Client/Project requirement.
Address any quality related issues in the meetings (consultants/project review meetings etc).
Raising NCRs/Observations for the identified findings on sub-contractor’s work.
Ensuring any NCRs that are raised by client/consultant are closed out within the stipulated time, if not send reminders/raise NCRs.
Conducting project and site store inspection in line with the organization's and project procedures.
Liaising and co-coordinating with procurement department for third party quality inspection agencies as and when required.
Ensuring all outstanding snags is completed/attended co-coordinating with discipline engineers to prior to start of pre-commissioning/ commissioning activities.
Attending the Weekly/Bi-weekly meetings at projects and address any issues related to Quality with the Project Team.
To visit the work site daily to check whether all works, materials/equipment is in accordance with QC program, project drawing & specification.
•Carrying out preliminary inspection of materials.
•When defective materials, equipment are found, immediate action to be taken to correct them.
•Prepare Quality documents to every inspection stage.
•To conduct all required tests in accordance with contract documents.
•Witnessing and coordinating mechanical testing like Impact Test, Tensile Test and Hardness Testing on raw materials.
•Reviewing and monitoring various Non-Destructive tests like Ultrasonic Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing, Liquid Penetrant Testing and Radiographic Testing.
•Supervise or direct the work of non-destructive testing (NDT) staff.
•Document non-destructive testing (NDT) methods, processes, or results.
•To fill & sign all reports & forms as necessary for the compliance with Contract Quality Standards.
•Perform Hydro Test and record the results.
•Supervising & coordinating with other work force for job completion on time.
