Participated in HQ project in Shenzhen, China. The team consulted me to utilize my relevant experience in the IPTV to help them and share with them the knowledge and experience in order to develop a newer version of Huawei IPTV related solutions. Which includes Product Development, Requirements Analysis, Pricing, Planning, Competitive Analysis, and Sales Planning.
- Develop the product description and road map for the 3 years.
- Preparing sales displays and modules
- Recommends the nature and scope of present and future product lines by, appraising new product ideas and/or product or packaging and licensing.
- Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.
- Determines product pricing by utilizing market research data and reviewing delivery and sales costs.
Currently I’m managing the the OTT apps development (VOD, Music and some games) along with the music content management portal. The team working on that project are distributed in Kuwait, Saudi, Dubai, Iran & China from different departments and diverse expertise: System Analyst, Marketing executives and managers, Android & iOS Developers, Operations manager and R&D members.

As a project manager, I got involved in projects that launching and serving huge services in the telecommunication carriers and enterprise organizations that located in UAE and other GCC countries such as Etisalat, Mobily, Ooredoo (Qtel) teleco. operators and some other organizations like governmental ministries and authorities.
Project Manager Responsibilities And Accountabilities:
• Determine the scope and clear business objectives of the project and the critical success factors of implementation projects (completion of the Project Definition Document).
• Proactively forecast and monitor revenues for the project ensuring budget and estimate if they rare in line with the contractual deliverables of the project.
• Prepare and communicate Project Plan to client, project team and Client Services Management.
• Obtain Client sign off on Project definition and scope, Project deliverables and agreed milestones and all change control items.
• Plan, manage and maximize utilization of project resources.
• Implement and manage project Change Control procedures.
• Manage client expectations and ensure implementation is within the agreed scope and timeframe.
• Manage and own the resolution of all inter work stream issues.
• Manage cross-functional teams in varying geographical locations Produce Project Dashboards and hold project meetings, on a regular basis, with the team and separately with the client to ensure that project is on track.
• Monitor quality of deliverables according to the Implementation Methodology and standards and maintain Project File and documentation.
• Carry out end-of-project performance appraisals for consultants involved, identify with them and report training and development needs.
• Develop and maintain close relationships with the client and ensure the fully satisfaction.
• Ensure appropriate submission of project team timesheets, approve timesheets and expense claims and provide Finance with accurate information for invoicing purposes.
• Provide assistance and advice to the project team members in the execution of their tasks and motivate the team for success.
• Perform such other duties, functions and services, consistent with status or vocational ability, as may from time to time be required.
• Manage the external vendors, subcontractors and suppliers relations within the project participation.
• Perform as functional bridge amongst external vendors as well as internal stakeholders.
• Participate in the early involvement of the project to conduct the activities such as solution architecting, system design, presales support, prices quoting, contract and RFP/RFI drafting, define BOQ/BOM, contact the potential subcontractor and vendors/suppliers, negotiate the scope and prices in certain levels.
• Manage the project handover and closure by implementing the testing, commissioning and test acceptance to obtain the PAC and customer signoff.
• Play a role in representing the company in the forums and trade shows such as TV connect, Cabsat and GITEX

Project Engineering Responsibilities And Accountabilities:
• Review, interpret and respond to detailed business requirements specifications to ensure alignment between customer expectations and current or future ICT capability.
• Specifies and designs large or complex systems. Selects appropriate design standards, methods and tools, consistent with agreed enterprise and solution architectures and ensures they are applied effectively.
• Reviews others' systems designs to ensure selection of appropriate technology, efficient use of resources, and integration of multiple systems and technology.
• Contributes to policy for selection of architecture components.
• Evaluates and undertakes impact analysis on major design options and assesses and manages associated risks.
• Ensures that the system design balances functional, service quality and systems management requirements
• Provide input to the strategic direction of technology investments.
• Define and design technology solutions to assist the business in meeting their business objectives.
• Develop, test and implement technology solutions and report on delivery commitments to ensure solutions are implemented as expected and to agreed timeframes.
• Identify system, infrastructure and project interdependencies and balance competing demands to ensure project deliverables are achieved.
• Participate in meetings to obtain the work group perspective and share information
• Resolve and provide solutions to issues, by consulting the vendors and expertise support.
• Develop and document solution requirements such as the technical proposal, High and Low level design and handover documents.
• Evaluate options for solutions and services from the vendors and suppliers.

• Train the Customer’s end users to operate the solution and handle the operation.
• Conducting and documentation the Acceptance Tests scenarios and criterias.
• System monitoring, reporting, troubleshooting, 1st level supporting and different levels escalation.
• Actively monitor and fine tune the database and web instances to ensure the high performance.

As a Development Team Leader, whilst being highly technical and hands-on capable, I lead development projects across predominantly Oracle ADF and JSP based technologies. Managing the delivery of projects. Plan, coordinate and lead activities across the full delivery lifecycle. Worked closely with the department’s Project Managers, coordinating business analysts, architects and developers, as well as liaising with key project stakeholders as required. Responsibilities:
• Line management and personal development of a team of highly skilled developers
• Managing the delivery of multiple complex simultaneous system development projects from design through to release
• Capable of understanding and contributing to the technical solution from design through to code level
• Working closely with Development Project Managers and Business Analysts to produce accurate delivery estimates and manage the transition from analysis through to design and delivery
• Provide regular and effective progress updates to and work closely with Development Project Managers to ensure the management of any delivery risks or issues
• Define delivery phases of the project including activities, sub-activities, and milestones ensuring these are documented and used as the basis for the project event log, issues and risk log and any subsequent reporting
• Ensure awareness, involvement and support from the key stakeholders and participants by building strong project teams and maintaining robust communication on the project status throughout its life cycle

As a developer, I was working with a team of developers on diverse projects using the Oracle ADF and JSP based technologies.

• Responsible for the site architecture, design and implementation of the server side software.
• Developed architecture, business logic and database structure of the project (UML).
• Implementing business logic on server-side as Entity Beans and Session Beans (EJB, JDBC, WebLogic & OC4J).
• Develop web-based software modules (JSP, HTML)
