Responsibilities include:
Leading Quality Assurance, Quality Control, HSE and IT departmental activities.
Management Representative (MR) of ISCO’s Integrated Management System (IMS) comprising ISO 9001, ISO 14001, BS OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001.
Responsible for the implementation of IMS
Responsible for operational excellence of the organization.
Focusing on business performance that constantly strives to eliminate waste, improve customer satisfaction, and increase market share via the use of Lean Six Sigma tools and continuous improvement methodologies
Working directly with internal process owners and department teams to develop scope and define resource plans for process improvement within their areas of responsibility
Driving employee engagement and organizational health
Improving productivity and capability of the workforce through current technology enablement, training, Process improvement and implementation of standard practices (e.g., 5S & Lean methodology, DMAIC, etc.)
Developing and maintaining process performance measurements, determine process performance baselines, and statistically analyze metrics to identify areas for process improvement
Collect and provide performance measures, develop reports, and analyze findings to identify areas for process improvement
Train team members on processes, tools and methods
Participate in identification, implementation, and sustainment of process improvements
Major Achievements:
o Renovate the Integrated Management System with new procedures, policies, charts and new auditing method
o Enhance housekeeping in IHED work shop
Improving business efficiency and reducing cost in processes using data- based decisions
Working with Senior Managers and organize teams to focus on continuous improvement activities
Using statistical tools and visual management techniques to lead and guide the team in accordance with the Six Sigma requirements
Lead Champion training sessions to ensure projects are successful
Completing and auditing ten extremely successful Six Sigma projects concerning the following:
- Human Resources Employees Turnover (Non - Manual Regular)
- Procurement “Reduce COD and Improve Average Credit Period”
- Unbilled revenue / invoices to clients
- Just-in-time Procurement
- Cranes downtime, breakdown, idle time and rental
- Earth moving equipment breakdown, downtime and idle time
- Project Control Department “Establish Unit Rates for Subcontract Works”
- Procurement “Delivery of Materials through Local Purchase Order”
- Instant Access - Kuwait “Equipment Breakdown & Downtime”
- ABJ - Kuwait “Weld Defect Less than 3%”
- Instant Access - Qatar “Equipment Breakdown & Downtime”
Major Achievements:
o Cost saving of over 1.6 million KD for the first year in procurement department
o Reduce turnover by 33% from previous year and saving of the replacement cost of non-manual employees which is approximately (minimum) 20% of an employee yearly income
