- Providing sound legal advice on a variety of legal issues and risks as needed.
- Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a wide variety of agreements and contracts.
- Conducting legal research and conferred with colleagues with subject matter expertise to develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
- Liaising with authorities in relation to satisfying the procedural requirements of all concerned legal issues when needed.
The City Convenience Group is an Australian company that specializes in consumer goods. It is considered as one of the fastest growing companies in the country as it has expanded its operations considerably in the last 20 years to include branches that currently cover more than 170 locations Australia-wide. My duties at the Company included:
- Interacting with an array of business-related legal documents and transactions that related to the Group’s line of business.
- Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating various forms of agreements relevant to the Group’s operations.
- Appraising the company of potential risks and costs associated with each course of action through careful advice on business operations and strategic plans.
- Monitoring legislations and regulations that relate to the Group’s activities to ensure compliance.
