UWIC September 17, 2012 Authors: Sama Alshawi This report explores and evaluates the role of Mega Events and in specific the Grand Prix Formula One in a destination development focusing on Bahrain. It discusses the effects of mega events around the world. Interviews were conducted to gather qualitative information. A survey gathered from the Modern Age Events was taken to analyze the results and compared with a report made about Bahrain. This concluded that the Formula One has made a positive impact on Bahrain as a destination development.
