• Negotiate room rates/packages with corporate clients.
• Analysis local market trends and competitor activity to identify business leads
• Produce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the Sales Director and senior management to include the reporting of appointments, calls made and business leads
• Responsible to assist with the efficient running of the department in line with Millennium International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations.
• Responsible to act as a sales specialist and be responsible to ensure the related revenue is maximised in the most profitable way in line with the agreed targets
• Recruit, manage, train and develop the Sales team
Maintain a high level of exposure for the hotel through direct sales
• Ensure comprehensive and complete coverage of own portfolio, covering all
levels of accounts’ managerial and departmental executives for a
comprehensive client servicing, achieving budget and maximum productivity
• Assist in the execution of property marketing plan and participate with the
property executive committee in the preparation of yearly marketing plan
• Ensure that selling strategies are adhered to during negotiations and maximize
up selling opportunities whenever possible
• Provide feedback on changing marketing conditions, including trends in the
competition, as a result of direct sales solicitation, telephone and / or direct mail

• Maintaining high level of awareness & knowledge of the Sales team specific
revenue budget & targets for the whole year.
• Assisting in tracking performance per segment and actively support all
liaison meetings
• Keeping updated and current records of all Sales Team specific business
development initiatives, promotions, offers and the respective support sales
activities.
• Assisting Sales Managers in collating and updating all relevant market &
competitor data, activities and information in order to respond to them
appropriately.
• Actively supporting Sales Team and other concerned colleagues in Area Sales
office in maintaining and growing positive customer and partner relationships
• Taking Ownership of all assigned sales related reports, keeping updated records
of all sales meeting minutes and data entry in the official sales automation tool.
Generates group and FIT sales from Travel agent, and company of both
domestic and international markets, towards overall sales objective.
• Makes regular sales calls on hotels, travel agents, airlines for booking and
future business. Tracks of all external ongoing activities especially among
competitors and the hospitality tourism industry.
• Achieve monthly budget goals and new business targets.
• Penetrate all new and existing accounts to maximum potential
• Prepare daily/ weekly/ monthly report that highlights action covered during that
period.
• Maintain and update Files containing pertinent information on clients as well
as operate within budgeted guidelines set by Sales Manager
•Process and confirm guest room reservations made by clients on the phone,
letter or fax
• Assist with all the promotions in and around the hotel and follow established
procedures to process all room reservations, rates, confirmations, hotel
facilities, etc.
• Prepare complete product knowledge manuals, explain rate structure and apply
rate management to other team members ( Mainly Sales and front Desk)

• Ensure all incoming calls are answered as per the standards, information
