I’m responsible about design and build the solution infrastructure from end to end (servers, virtualization, networking, security.. etc) as the following:
- Doing the required sizing and the growth forecasting for the required resources as compute and storage for the coming years.
- Doing the pricing exercise, choosing the proper vendor, hardware and software to be installed and used, and all of the other procurement activities that are required.
- Build and install the infrastructure (hardware and software) in the data center with the required logistics.
- Full familiarity with the redundancy and the disaster recovery solutions, using all of the high availability techniques (network redundancy, hypervisor clusters, hardware and software load balancers, other clustering solutions..etc).
Administering and Managing more than 50 middle ware servers on Oracle, Microsoft and IBM technologies with different types of application servers (Oracle application server 10gR2, R3, MOSS, Websphere).
Oracle SSO Integration through the Oracle Internet Directory, accessing the various application through the Oracle Portal with many integration techniques (partner, external and direct links integration).

2-Installing and Configuring RAC and DataGuard.
3-Im working now as an ORACLE DBA and iAS Administrator . I cover -with my team- more than 70 sites in jordan as an Oracle Support Consultant .
4-Oracle Migration (Oracle Systems and Databases ) .
5-Working on many operating systems (windows.unix, vms, redhat) .
6-Implementing most of the DBA operations on our sites such as backup and recovery operations using archive mode, rman and logical backup, implementing the various security operations, installing RAC environments and configure it, Oracle Failsafe, regular maintenance, database migration, database tuning and other issues.
7-Im also administer the Oracle Application Server from scratch: Installing the instances, deploying the various applications, deploying the forms/reports applications, solving the arabic fonts problems on UNIX environments, tuning the http, reports servers..etc, backup operations and maintenance, working with SSO, OID, SSL and other operations.
8-Integration the OID LDAP with other LDAP servers like Sunone Iplanet LDAP and Active Directory.
9-I administer the Oracle Collaboration Suite including all the previous tasks and configuring the various application within the OCS.
10-I do all the mentioned tasks on unix, windows, vms and linux.
I worked in the company as an oracle developer and an analyst / programmer . I worked in another fields too s.a ASP.Net programmer with sqlserver and some other business tasks.
OCE in administering RAC 10g.
Im now an Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) in the oracle application server 10g R2.
Im now an Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) in the DBA 10g .
