Telecom \ Transmission Engineer for Operation & Maintenance dept.
• Operate and maintain all Transmission field activities in the network including network performance measurement and troubleshooting the Transmission field problems.
• Plan and implement PMR of the network and network elements as directed
To ensure availability targets are achieved.
• Update the equipment and databases with Ring Diagrams, and fiber utilization.
• Study the Metro fibers inventory and continuity report and ensure the high availability of fibers with standard attenuation
• Fault and SPOF Analysis, diagnosis and troubleshooting of transmission logical and physical network.
• Experience with SDH, DWDM, MPLS-TP Routing and Switching and Transmission technologies
• Supporting NOC Management, monitoring and reporting the status of transmission Network
• Leading the testing of new features and generating the required evaluation and recommendation reports.
• Commercial experience in Testing, Commissioning, and integrating optical transmission equipment to ensure that construction is in accordance with the approved design and technical specifications including local authority requirements.
• Perform the field acceptance of the all equipment newly deployed optical network.
• Manage the Metro fiber cuts and ensure Metro contractor maintains the SLA and KPI.
• Manage and coordinate the metro route relocation and ensure the relocation is executed as per the plan.
• Conducting Metro OSP Acceptance Testing, commissioning and hand over. which including Civil and Optical PATs as per Mobily standard and proper documentation
• Managing and close all SA and NSA OILs to deliver all components of network to O&M with full functionality and clean.
• Conducting Telecom Acceptance Testing, Comissining and hanoverwhich including PATs as per Mobily standard and proper documentation.
• University of Science and Technology (Sana'a, Yemen) 2010 Bachelor degree from the department of computer science in the field of Computer Network with grade: Very Good, with the honor degree. Graduation project name: Using Wi-Fi to link government's organizations.
