The safety officer is responsible for creating, maintaining and improving safety in the workplace. They are responsible for making sure that legislation is adhered to and assist in planning, implementing, monitoring and reviewing the health and safety strategies of an organisation.

• Ensure that the operators (Backhoe, driller, excavator, compactor, boom truck, fork lifter, and crane) are trained, qualified, authorized and licensed.
• Check for availability of safety stickers for heavy vehicles which are working in the restricted areas.
• Oversee all safety and security and facility management requirements of the organization including security, access control, maintenance, government license renewals and premises.
• Follow the instructions and coordinate all activities related to Health, Safety, fire fighting & Security affairs including the staff available in the respective areas.
